  1. Afternoon Chaps Any idea how to replicate the reflective tape strips seem on and around Trucks? Not something you really see a lot off on model trucks. My thoughts were Tamiya tape, sprayed clear yellow/orange mix over silver and gloss varnished. Then cut up to whatever size needed. Any thoughts Thanks Mad Steve
  2. Afternoon Chaps This lot in the last couple of weeks... Mad Steve

  4. Hi Espo Yes, the XF Enamel comes in the square bottle, and XF Acrylic in the round. Mad Steve
  5. Helloooooo... New to the place, but thought i should start sharing I have always loved building trucks and have built a couple over the years, but the bug has finally seated itself and I purchased a few truck models to get going again. I prefer Euro Trucks more than American trucks (Yeah I know, typical foreigner ), and this is the first I have built in a while. Its built straight from the box, with just a little detail added to the Cab, and I've done a little bit of weathering as road grime. I don' t like to go overboard with weathering, just a bit of a dusting of grime they pick up on their long journeys. My biggest mistake I have made on this, is painting the cab White... It seems to be a dirt and mark magnet, and i'm currently having a rethink about the colour... Hope you enjoy and all comments welcome Mad Steve

  7. Good Morning Everyone My name is Steve, I'm 48 years old and live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have been building since I was 10, following a wildly varied path, but Cars, Bikes and Trucks have always been my first love. I have recently started building trucks again, I think they are my secret passion. Ill build just about anything, except aircraft really, not really interested in them at all. Thank you for accepting me onto the Forum, I'm here to learn Thanks Steve
