  3. Hey I want to build a 2008 Dale Jr nationwide series car, and I can’t figure out what size styrene strip to use to make accurate side skirts. Any advice?

  5. This is my 2014 Dale Jr Martinsville win car. I lowered the ride height, added braided lines to the engine and other parts of the car, did the ECU wiring, added brake ducts, also added the clear spoiler extension as well. I made a pit box for this build as well. The decals are powerslide, and stoneys brake ducts and side skirt rivets. I used tamiya pure white.
  6. I used the micro sol, I apply the decals and use a q tip to apply it and just work the decal till it’s smoothe
  7. This is my 2015 Dale Jr Nationwide Phoenix win car. I used Tamiya light metallic blue, Tamiya pure white. I used the powerslide sheet, also a grill and brake duct decals from stoneys. I added some braided lines to this build, also added brake ducts as well. I added a splitter, lowered the ride height, and tucked the tires. I modified the seat, added belts and the koolbox hose as well.

  10. Yeah on the last pit stop they needed a left front and they grabbed one from a truck team.
  11. This is my 2004 Dale Jr Daytona 500 winner. I used a resin nose, racescale decals, tamiya paints as well.
  12. Thanks everyone!! Unfortunately my 3 year old grabbed it off my desk and scratched the body up, I have got the body off the chassis and luckily I can strip the body and redo it. I will post pics once it’s done again.
  13. This is my 2018 Brad Keselowski Southern 500 winner. I lowered the ride height, added a splitter, plug wires, ecu wires added, made a steering column, added the second fire extinguisher, interior door padding as well. Paint is Tamiya semi gloss black, Tamiya metallic gold. Power slide decals, also Stoney’s brake duct decals. This was a fun build, any comments or suggestions welcome!!
  14. This is my 2015 Dale Jr Dewshine build. The colors are tamiya British racing green, tamiya pure white, testors neon yellow. I lowered the ride height, tucked the tires into the fenders, I used an aftermarket resin full containment seat, I drilled the dash and added the ignition wires. I added the steering column as well. I added the splitter as well. The decals are from Stoney, brake duct decals are also Stoney as well. I enjoyed this build, first “short track” build I have done.
  15. Cut the springs down and the shocks, then bend the a-arms very gently as well. I don’t use the brake rotors from the kit and it helps tuck the tires very well.

  17. This is my 2017 Dale Jr Coke 600 car, I used tamiya pure white, tamiya light metallic blue. These are a great set of decals from Stoney. I lowered the ride height, made a splitter, added the radio antenna.
  18. This is my 2016 Dale Jr Mountain Dew All Star build. It’s Tamiya pure white, and tamiya candy lime green. These are an awesome set of stoneys decals. I lowered the ride height, added a splitter, radio antenna, steering shaft, and a seat. What do y’all think?
  19. This is my 2015 Dale Jr Nationwide Homestead Jeff Gordon tribute build. I lowered the ride height, detailed the interior, added a splitter, radio antenna, steering shaft, used a different seat, added the padding and seat belts. I used Tamiya TS-54 light metallic blue, Tamiya pure white, and testors fluorescent yellow. I also used a pit box I got from eBay to make a pit cart.

  21. This is my 2016 Dale Jr Tax Slayer build, I used Tamiya pure white and Tamiya pure metallic red. I detailed the interior, lowered the ride height, added a super speedway splitter as well.

  23. This is my 2017 Dale Jr Mountain Dew build. The paint was Tamiya TS-52 Candy lime green, the decals are an awesome set from Stoney. I lowered the ride height, added seat belts, and made my own steering shaft, added padding to the seat, wires from the ecu box, added a splitter, and a radio antenna.
  24. We go to about 6 or 7 races a year and that’s why I build so many Jr cars, he was our favorite driver and it’s awesome to be able to build the cars and put the pics with them. I haven’t missed a Daytona 500 since 1987 lol, I grew up on nascar and so are my two boys.
  25. Thanks Mark really appreciate that!! I actually stripped this car 4 times and went thru 3 sets of decals before it came together. We were there that night he won in it so I’m gonna display with our family pic from the race.
