I remember many years ago when they announced they were going to offer a transkit to do a 2000 Mustang cobra R,but it never happened😐,hopefully they may do one this time.

I would definitely buy one of those.

I haven't ordered from Model Roundup in a long time, so maybe I missed something. I tried to order yesterday and I thought it had the option to pay by credit card or via PayPal. I wanted to use my CC so I put the information in and at checkout it told me they were unable to draw the funds via PayPal even though I'd checked CC. Do they only accept PayPal now or did I do something wrong? Any ideas?

I don't even see an option for CC. All I see is Paypal and Venmo.

  3. I have noticed that the USPS is now far better for delivering packages than for general mail, at least in my little part of paradise. Roughly 15 years ago the sorting center that handed off to my local post office was rated as the worst in the US. It would take weeks for a birthday card to be delivered to the next county over. It's much better now.

Oh well, that's an interesting attitude.  This is likely a 1-man operation.  If he is unaware there is a problem on the website, how can he fix it?  Is he supposed to go and browse his website ever day looking for problems?   I guess this "not my problem"  attitude is widespread nowadays.

Yes, it is his responsibility, and his alone, to make sure everything is running properly. It's his business. Whatever it takes to keep it running is what he has to do. If it means he has to click on everything every day, then he has to click on everything every day.

There was nothing to indicate a problem with the website, so why would I contact him to ask if the unavailable product was actually available? None of the other stuff came up as "not available". The only reason I checked other sites is because I had been looking at this product for a while and finally decided to get some.

The great thing about a want, versus a need, is that you can shrug your shoulders and walk away having lost nothing.

A couple of things about this. Online shops aren't the best places to get this information.

Pandemic-shmandemic. Not everything revolves around or, is/was affected by, this topic.

Lastly, did anyone even think of contacting Chris Hales directly to verify this? I did. Here's his reply from earlier this afternoon:

It's not my job to keep someone else's company/website operating properly.

Chad.   Look up C1 Models website. It is a UK based company where the product will be expained. Also look in the thread in this forum 'Let's see some scratch built things. The bodywork on my Napier Railton in there was done with it.

Besides the polishing powder C1 has a very nice range of resin trsnskits. The James Bond Spectre Land Rover transkits for the Revell kit look quite tasty!

The C1 site shows "that item is not available" when you try to add to cart. Several online shops show the product as discontinued. Maybe pandemic related?

It's a shame if it's no longer available. I kept telling myself to order it, but I never did.
