  1. Thank you all for your input to my questions.
  2. Bought this at Walmart today for $3 works well and it dries clear.
  3. Thanks everyone for your input. I will go the epoxy route.
  4. Hi Putting together a model I have had for years, Big Foot monster truck. The cockpit is clear and I am using Testors clear parts cement. I understand this is a type of wood glue but I need something with more strength because I have to clamp the roll cage to it when I glue the cage in place. I'm using rubber bands to do this I guess I'm going to answer my own question and say to use clear epoxy. Here are some pictures of the construction. Thanks
  5. Do you think Hobby Lobby would stock these items ?
  6. Is Micro Sol and/or Micro Set different than the Micro Superfilm ?
  7. I came across a product. Microscale Liquid Decal Film. Is Micro Superfilm the same stuff ?
  8. Hi When I start a post, at the bottom is a green button switch that I turn on to get notifications if someone responds. But I never get notified. Thanks
  9. UV thing. Hang or tape the decal sheet to a window that gets direct sunlight most of the day. It will bleach out any yellowing on the sheet and decals.
  10. Hi I read an older post about this (2012) and it was said #1 choice was Microscale decal film. Also do the UV thing by hanging the sheet in a sunny window. Was wondering if there are any updates in products or solutions to this. Thanks
  11. Still hoping someone would have the parts I'm looking for.
  12. Anybody with parts that can help me ?
  13. Again thanks for looking. Being I have the rear wheels and slicks hoping to find matching ones for the front. Need spoiler and wheelie bars also. The rear tires I have are 1 1/4" high/3/4" wide. Wheel is 5/8" diameter. Don't know what kit they came from. Maybe T/F or funny car.
  14. Thanks for looking Does the 40 Ford have the wheels that I posted on the slick or the ones in the picture of the red Willys ?
  15. Hi I don't have spare parts and am willing to purchase them. I need: Front wheels and tires, rear are Weld wheels Also wheelie bars and rear spoiler. This is what I would like to do. Or close to it. Thanks
  16. I have one of these. I guess it's just measure the dimensions and ask people to do the same with their parts. I thought there was a modeling tire size chart or something along those lines to compare different ones.
  17. I'm trying to get my build going and have a rear set of slicks that are big for my application. Was thinking of widening the fenders but think it's better if I find something that will fit (K.I.S.S.) I don't have anything else to choose from so when I go on the want page to ask for tires/wheels I know what size I can tell someone. It's a Revell 41 Willys with the tubbed floor pan. I bought the pan off of Ebay and no tires or wheels came with it. I had the body already. Thanks
  18. I'm using the floor pan from the 41 Willys street rod. It is tubed and has a narrow rear.
  19. I'm starting to build a 41 Willys drag car. I need to extended the rear fenders to accept the tires I have. Should I cut the fenders off at the body and add a filler strip ? This is what I'm trying to build. Or am I thinking too deep into it ? I'm using tires/wheels I believe came from a Top Fuel car. The more I look at this picture the arc of the fender is opened up and the tire sits inside the fender lip.
  20. Tom Thanks for the link but I'm sure this is the same stuff people use from a refill bottle in their air brushes.
