  1. Kevin Lutz at Missing Link resin has had these for sale in the past. Hit him up and see if he plans to produce a batch sometime soon? I could go for a set or two myself.
  2. Your attention to detail is commendable, and the quality of your work is really quite sharp.
  3. Well done build on a great "Gentleman's Hot Rod".
  4. This signals a problem to me. I ordered at the end of November, and I'm still waiting. He's always been good, and the quality is top notch, but. Putting others ahead of waiting orders will not sit well.
  5. For those of us "Cobra oblivious" persons, which kit did you start with? Beautiful work BTW.
  6. Yep, interior is giving me fits. It may involve a step back and a regroup on that. All else is progressing as time allows.
  7. Bought three from a favorite online vendor. Will also purchase at least three of the 442 hardtops when they hit the warehouses.
  8. Wow. Terrific "every day" configuration.
  9. The "Lima" four is not the same as the Euro/Pinto motor. The Lima is a pretty stout motor, and not subject to early retirement at 100,000. They were offered in 2.0, 2.3, and 2.5 liter displacements. Properly prepped, stock cranks/blocks have been pushed to over 800bhp.

Nice work. Yellow looks good on these. Not a common color on the 1:1 versions. I have a red 1:1 rotting in the back yard.
  11. AMX's are one thing, Javelins are another. I love 'em both, but I'd like some Javelins on my shelf. My favorites are the '71-'74, and they're not easy to come by. Yes, the '69 is readily available, at a price. Perhaps it's time to learn the fine art of resin casting. Casey, thanks for the replies. How is the quality on the Reliable Resin and Jimmy Flintstone cars? Sport Suburban, thanks for the reply also.
  12. Other than the Jimmy Flintstone '70 Trans Am Javelin kit, and the Reliable Resin '70 transkit, are there any Javelin or AMX kits, or even bodies, currently being cast?
  13. Interior and chassis progress. Finished trimming the seats out of the tub. Console was sacrificed, but will be replaced with the stick shift console from the Revell '72 Cutlass. Started grafting the seat backs from the '69 AMT kit to the Johan seat body/bases. Things were glued/unglued several times. Back seat was removed and trimmed up. The tub locating loops at the back were retained. Then the back seat was removed from the AMT tub, the side panels trimmed, and the Johan back seat was temporarily super glued in place. Once I get the dashboard position correctly set, the side panels will be cut out and properly dressed. Then the front seats need to be finished and trimmed out, and the base of the Revell console re profiled to fit the AMT tub. Glass and interior placed in the body shell and chassis plate added to check and correct, if needed (it was), the wheel placement in the wheel wells. No major corrections, just nips an tucks here and there to shift the interior and chassis plate into proper placement and alignment.
