Thanks for your service my brother was an AF staff Sargent based in the Philippines in 1969 heavy equipment was his game. Will be interesting to follow this build.

Yes DD Freightliner could be seen with triples inbred Oregon, Nevada routes. Mainly a lot of the sleeper trucks worked multiple state routes along with some over night dry bulk runs. Hope that helps a little. Go on the net and look up Consolidated Freight Ways truck images. Found a few pics there.

Thanks DT71 problem is this resin looks like glass internally and the cab and sleeper just shattered when my hand clamped down. As they say Shhhhhhhh it happens. Just need to figure out where to go from now as I can't do the n scale.

Back to square 1 Talked to Doc K last week. Anyways this project goes from bad to worse. A few years back I was run off the road by an intoxicated driver that caused me to roll my tractor trailer upside down. This left me with nerve issue's in my hands so last night I was working on my Diamond T and had severe spasms in my hands. This is the result of those spasms see pic below. Not sure where I go from here the trailer ended up just as bad. And the cab is not fixable due to its small size.

Actually the FLD 112 belongs to the Century class as had a 99 FLD 112 pretty decent truck other than the doors self locked when you closed them. Have been corrected Freightliner did make other versions of the 112 that I didn't know about. Sad considering I've driven truck since 2001 most my early trucks were Freightliner. Then I got spoiled with Kenworth & Peterbilt
