  1. If you ever had the chance to meet Slim, he could change your life with a handshake and smile. An avid model builder who's talents were watched and admired by many. A great guy with skills and a smile. He passed away over the weekend, and is missed by his fellow builders, club brothers, and friends. Take a minute to recognize the level of craftsmanship he put into his rides, and help his family if you can. Peace and Love. MY favorite build of his is this 1930 Ford he built for me. It's as fast as it looks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4P_lD9WqTo www.gofundme.com/f/grant-daleaka-slim-scale-junkiez?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer

  4. Testor's One Coat Lacquer Icy Blue. I wanted a little Hot Rod rake to it. But it is a pain to lower the back, for sure.
  5. Thanks everyone. The headers are from replicas and miniatures. The flames are decals. They are from the new release of the Revell 3- Window kit. I shot everything in blazing black and then decaled it and then shot clear over all of it.
  6. Here is my latest build. It was for a model contest on Jalopy Journal. It's the Revell 1932 Ford Roadster kit with the engine from the Revell 1932 Ford 5-Window kit. The rubber, door handles and tail lights are from the Revell 1941 Willys Gasser model. Replicas and Miniatures pipes chromed by Chrometech USA. The color is Testors One Coat Lacquer Blazing Black. This will ensure that everyone gets an accurate dial in time.
  13. Its a 1/16 scale Top fuel Front engine dragster made by Revell. I am looking for information on this kit. When was the last time it was released? Is it still available from hobby stores or just on Ebay?, What other 1/16 scale dragsters has Revell put out based on this kit and so on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
