IIRC, Moebius decided to sell the plow set up separately after the plow kit had been out for awhile. I know some folks bought the pickup and plow kit for the chassis and not plow as I have done some trading with them. Additionally, the Revell GMC pickup and plow kit saw the same thing- some were after the truck, some were after the plow.
To your point, the Midnite Cowboy wrecker bed has been slapped behind a few different cabs. Maybe if the Moebius wrecker does well Revell might either reissue the Midnite Cowboy kit or cobble up a kit using it and a different cab? As much as I would like to see Moebius sell the wrecker separately, I don't think that would happen.
Mike, where can I order a Moebius Snow Plow kit separate from the entire Ford F-250 4X4 kit? Thank you!

Well what you read doesn't appear to be incorrect. The molds probably were damaged and/or lost. This new release appears to be a clone (with improvements) of the original. Please note the cab is separate from the bed, the improved engine compartment, that the grille and front bumper are now separate from each other, and if Round2 follows precedent, the headlights will probably be separate clear pieces now.
Looking forward to further details now that the kat is officially out of the bag.
This is all good news, and I'm looking forward to seeing them!

Great news from Round 2! Looking forward to building one (or a dozen) of these kits!

When I started a thread about this last year, I had my doubts that the AMT 1960 Ford F-100 pickup kit would ever be re-released, especially after a 63 year absence! Everything that I read indicated that the molds had been damaged or lost forever. Good job, Round 2!

Charlie, you've done so many military vehicles, spanning from WW II, to Korea and Viet Nam, that you could launch your own 1/25th scale invasion anywhere. (LOL)

Seth, you've done an awesome job on this build! The backdated hood and radiator shell, as well as the big rubber really make this Autocar "pop"! Nice work!

Really beautiful build. I like the color and the photography. The bigger wheels give it an intimidating look
Thank you, Mario! I agree with you on the bigger wheels. Most of the heavy duty Mack, Autocar, and Brockway, dumps, mixers, and lowbed rigs had big 24" rubber for decades. Too bad the AMT Autocar /MPC Macks did not include the bigger wheels/ tires in their kits. Thankfully, the aftermarket guys were/ are able to fill those voids. The paint is Rustoleum Gloss Emerald Green over Rustoleum gray primer. I photographed it from a low angle on my rear deck in natural sunlight.
