  1. Sounds like a nice build. And I'll have to try scenes unlimited myself
  2. If thats the case then I'll omit the raising blocks then, thanks
  3. Thanks, I had no idea it was this simple. I'll try that
  4. Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket suspension parts for this truck? I'm looking for a 1/25 scale 67-91 C10 but I would rather have one with the stock suspension height. Any ideas are appreciated
  5. Hi Everyone, I was looking online for color ideas and came across this image. I'm not sure what the exact name of the color is. Any ideas?
  6. Is there anything that you would recommend over createx?
  7. You did a great job on that build. I really like the color choices that you used. Did you use just regular createx or did you use their candy2o? I also read some where that regular creatix is only meant for fabrics, but I'm not sure. But I was thinking of using createx transparent purple over a metallic chrome
  8. Hi everyone, I was doing a little research and I came across a way of using acrylics to create a paint job with a candy effect. You can do this with using Tamiya's transparent colors over a metallic base coat. Has anyone tried this with Createx's transparent colors? And what experiences have you had with using Createx paints for model building?
  9. Is it as simple as just placing the front frame onto the chassis frame of the truck? What about the rear?
  10. I think I'll try mounting the axles over the springs. The only thing is whether or not there will be enough space for the axle to sit between the chassis frame and the upper part of the springs
  11. Hi everyone, I'm trying to figure out how I can lower the stance on the AMT '55 Cameo Pick Up truck. I see other builds that have been lowered and I'm wondering how I can do the same. I have an idea on removing the leaf springs from the build, but I'm not sure if that's a definite way of doing that or not. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Thats a good idea. I thought about doing that but wasn't sure about how it would work- but I think it'll do fine. Thanks
  13. I was thinking the same thing about the rear after I studied the instructions a little bit. Adding spacers between the leaf springs and the axle would force the axle upwards, making the suspension lower in the rear. Thanks for your help
