  1. HI, As far as I know, most USPS carriers will not leave an insured package unless there is someone there to accept it. I think the carrier in on the hook if a insured package is stolen after it is left. I have a po box to avoid having boxes left at my door. You can also request the package to be held at the Post Office for pickup. Steve
  2. The guy is fishing way too deep for me. Even $3500.00 is crazy money. Steve
  3. Hi, Glad to read everyone's views on trading. I guess the bottom line is be honest with the other person. If you can't work the deal out, parts as friends and don't hold a grudge. Thanks,Steve
  4. laundry bleach, simple green, purple power, 90% alky(use outside as it VERY Flamable). Steve
  5. Hi, Looking for a pair of 1/24 scale tuner type racing seats for a project. Any donor kit suggestions? thanks, steve
  6. HI, I have these up for trade. The two dodge kits,#9 and #40 are complete less decals and drivers. The lindberg kit is complete, no box or decals and bad chrome. Looking to trade(1 for 1) for new issue amt gremlin or meyers max kits. Or lmk what else you have to trade. Thanks,Steve
  7. hi, Thanks for the photos. Too bad the comet wagon is just wasting away. Steve
  8. HI, I try to help ebay sellers with their descriptions of their auctions. I have always gotten pos. response from the sellers. Don't beat yourself up for trying to help the person out. Steve
  9. Hi, ok, here something else to chew on. I was working in highschool in 1974 making $2.15 min. wage. Min wage is $7.25 now. Compare that to how much model kits have gone up. Steve
  10. Hi, Michaels store marked all their revell kits up. The 24.99 kits are now 27.99. 19.99 kits are 21.99. Isn't 27.99 for the hemi dart higher than revell's list price? They wonder why kids don't build models, they can't afford them. Steve
  11. hi, that kit was high tech for us "old farts" at MCM. Good rule is "buyer beware" and find out what you are getting before you buy. Steve
  12. hi, i started this discussion because someone was flaming about deals that were never agreed on. Offers were made, but were not accepted. Telling members not to deal with a member because on a trade that was never agreed of is not right. Steve
  13. BTW: imatt88 is a one of the great people to deal with here. Steve
  14. HI mike, you are correct, 99.9% of the members are great people. It's the .01% that takes the fun out of it sometimes. Steve
  15. HI, Just wanted to put my view about doing trades with MCM members. I have done at least 15 or so trades with people on this site. All have gone well, never had any complaints. I can't understand why someone would be mad enough to slam someone if they never did a deal with them. So, if your trade offer is not accepted, move on and don't hold a grudge. That is what I do. Steve
