  1. And sometimes someone else’s misfortune can be hilarious ....

  3. This is from a custom knife maker on eBay called CFK ... I’ve been watching for something I’d really like from them for over a year now, and then won the bid on this one... It’s beautiful and very high quality, and pretty much exactly the kind of knife I’ve been looking for... couldn’t be happier!... ?? Most of their knives are over $100, but they’re always offering ones with mild blemishes in auctions and I’ve seen many of them go for $40-$50, and the blemishes are usually almost unnoticeable, and there are endless styles being offered all the time
  4. Whoa!... INCREDIBLE work!.. I mean it’s flippin’ bad to the bone mannn!!.... Your skills really show through in every area on this one. I really don’t see an area where you could have done something better. I love your taste in the color choices and all of the extra details and how clean all your fabricating is is just truly impressive... Can’t say enough????
  5. Nice work, and nice photos too!

  8. Great to have you Mike ... I too like what you like??
  9. Very nice!
  10. Great car .... But this really is the coolest backdrop I’ve ever seen for a model car!
  11. One more ? for using a lighter wash inside the treads and then sanding ... I also used clear Testors dullcoat on the sidewalls (second picture) ***One other thing worth considering however, is something I’ve actually observed on my bicycle’s treads. I live in a region that gets long winters which means the roads get treated with some type of ice melt which turns things white-ish like salt would; probably there is salt in it. But what I’ve seen on my bike tires is that when I ride in fresh snow it cleans the tires until the rubber looks brand new. Then, if after that, I ride down a street that has had the ice melt treatment, the tops of my tire treads will turn white-ish like they have salt on them, but the deep parts of the tread remain very dark and clean looking ... basically the total opposite of the treads shown above ... Might be worth considering if building vehicles that would be working/driving in winter environments.
  12. Congrats Mark! ... Now if only I could get around to finishing mine?
  13. That engine looks beautiful so far!
  14. Very cool! Thanks?
  15. Well since others have added their deer pics, I guess I’ll chip in .... This was standing about 3 feet outside my window last summer.
  16. Very nice looking bird ... and clean work as well ... Love that blue paint job!?
  17. We used to have an albino deer that roamed a certain portion of our town years ago as well. Not sure how common it is, but guessing it’s not incredibly rare
  18. Wow, very cool work and the likeness to the 1:1 is spot on ... Opening doors and trunk are always a special treat, and being your first makes it even more impressive yet??
  19. Very cool looking Cobra, and nice work... love the color and extra details you put into it! ... ?? And I agree with kjohan about the lowered stance ... Both of the Revell Cobras I’ve built so far came out a touch higher at the rear fenders and a bit higher yet at the fronts than yours looks, and both of mine sit with the exact same stance. ***Wait, aha!... After just looking back at your pics it appears that you have a taller profile tire than the kit comes with, which would make the stance appear lower. Are they a different tire? Also, if you have any engine shots would love to see those too
  20. Nicely done work Roman, the engine bay looks incredibly real with the details and weathering... Awesome?
  21. That Superbird looks super nice!
  22. There is no denying it.... That is a beautiful build!
