  1. Hi all,

I've been on a bit of a binge to get this done. It's my first completed model kit in my new house so that's something. I'm not too happy with some of my line work and the registry is hard to read on the dark blue. I like how it stands out from my collection though and has clear visual ties to the predecessors in the enterprise lineage. My next model will be the 1/25 Supernatural 1968 Chevy Impala.

    Thanks for checking in

  2. Hey all,

After all my belongings from the other side of the country, I decided to get back to this. I fully changed the colour palette I chose for this model. Next step is RCS thrusters, vents, escape pods and any other detail paint. It has been gloss coated so I can just use thinner to clean up over painting (all this was done by brush that's why the choice of clear coat before paint is done). After my detail painting, it's decals then flat. After flat I'll go over and "lit" areas like the deflector dish and nacelles in a gloss clear. Thanks for lookingIMG_20230808_033738651.thumb.jpg.dbc9a31a8654c864da0055c11fc8c606.jpgIMG_20230808_033742411.thumb.jpg.4bc1b017f3d0caa083651ac8c39406e4.jpgIMG_20230808_033746089.thumb.jpg.e637a4b4068289e0377d51661dee9ecf.jpgIMG_20230808_033749116.thumb.jpg.ac7edce9dc324b8362741f124eeeba10.jpgIMG_20230808_033811122.thumb.jpg.882ba7bd2cfe956b35e1cf8b83f3da57.jpgIMG_20230808_033813598.thumb.jpg.ba1c90cf00e7ae82fc91728a5e69a0a1.jpgIMG_20230808_033818606.thumb.jpg.5ddcb7c54287717f1750ba12b7d37644.jpgIMG_20230809_022239298.thumb.jpg.1a89922722176b655a260e00c0692571.jpgIMG_20230809_022248517.thumb.jpg.a217d31c866d3eb798d77509e3c4fb12.jpgIMG_20230809_022259299.thumb.jpg.627d4dc31e649acb94de6c21e92787a8.jpgIMG_20230809_022307132.thumb.jpg.4f0dd3f3944a4749f0a67ee33d4c3bdb.jpgIMG_20230808_033813598.thumb.jpg.ba1c90cf00e7ae82fc91728a5e69a0a1.jpg

  3. Hello all,

I am looking for the side stripes and all marking decals for the Revell 1970 Challenger T/A. I am hoping there is a version with white decals somewhere out there, as I want to do it in pink with the white stripes.

    PM  if you have anything,

    Thanks

  4. Greetings fellow weirdos!
I have come from the depths of the internet with one goal in mind, after seeing an ad for this beauty of a vehicle.

The Equus Bass in my opinion is the perfect modern muscle car. With interior up to spec with all modern vehicles, it retains the quintessential look of a real pure 60's muscle car. Resembling, in my mind, a combination of a Plymouth GTX and a '67 Fastback. My goal and plan is to kit bash a GTX, and a fastback with the interior of a Camaro. I need to make this, I need I need I need I want.
My first steps are... well actually buying the kits which I cannot do at this moment. However! I call upon you all to ask if any of you guys have donor bodies of fastbacks or front grills of gtx's out there.

First off, I will need to re sculpt the GTX front grill and chin to fit the more angular shape. I have no clue how, but I will figure it out. Also the GTX has 4 headlight, this only has 2 plus the fog lights underneath. Maybe the GTX isn't the best choice, but at this moment it is as close as I can get in my mind. The fastback body needs only minor adjustment, I would need to fill where the side vents are but otherwise I am going to leave it well enough alone. I would need the 770 Decals too. The interior will be just the Camaro interior from the 2017 Fiftieth anniversary Camaro.
  5. Primed!
Airbrushing in a 1 bedroom apt. is not fun...

For some reason the colour looks so much more orange on camera. It is actually quite a darker red.

Wheels are black. Not sure what to do with them right now, but I have to do all the black trim and details first before I do anything else with decals and whatnot.

  6. A christmas gift arrived today, sent by Mustang. He sent me a new bumper for the 'stang, which I promptly completed.
Despite the issues with the fit on the nose, I thoroughly enjoy this kit. I HAVE to do another one with the Eleanor custom front clip.

Not a single thing, other than branding (i.e., box art and labelling).

They even have the same issue number, which is kind of strange.

🤦‍♂️ Wow, and the Nash one seems to be like 3x more expensive.

Alright, what are you looking for Steamboat? Hopefully we can come to an agreement if you are willing to part with it.

  8. I am really close to getting this one done. In all honesty, it is my best automobile model yet (just watch as i accidently sit on it or something).
Once the front bumper that Mustang here provided (many many thank you's to him for that) arrives, it will be the last touch.
Instead of BMF I might instead do molotow pens or maybe do black trim instead. Not sure which yet.

Also for size comparison with the GT.

  9. Thanks guys!
Neat to know that you worked on the GT Gotnitro.

One thing I noticed about this kit, and I don't know if anyone here knows why, but the headlights are not road headlights. Are they specialized racing lights?

    Those are the real ones,

    These are the kit ones
