Ramchargers Dragster and Transporter Truck

If you are willing to go with the nicer (IMHO) ex-Monogram 1/32 '82 Camaro Z/28, it was recently reissued by Atlantis (who now owns the ex-Monogram mold) and should be available for $25 or so: https://atlantis-models.com/model-vehicles/?sort=featured&page=2

While the 1/24 Monogram '55 Chev and Badman two share much, the devil is in the details, so to speak-- different wheels and tires, exhaust, and the Badman version has a unique front spoiler, the grill opening-mounted Moon fuel tank, and wheelie bars which the Street Machine version does not.

Complete bonuses in kits

Still hopeful. π Would that fit on the smaller Fireball 500/Corvette trailer? I don't think it'd fit inside any standard pickup bed. -
Renwal Revivals- a cult following
Casey replied to Paul Payne's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I suspect the ex-Renwal molds all went to Atlantis, at least those they wanted. Atlantis has released a handful (maybe fewer) ex-Renwal kits, so it would be worth your time to send Atlantis an e-mail and ask them. I think the last Renwal kit Revell re-issued, a decade ago, was the 1/32 Teracruzer: -

Has anyone here created (or might be consider creating) a older style galvanized metal garbage can and lid set? I would think once the AMT Garwood Refuse truck debuts, one could have no trouble selling quite a few of them. π€·ββοΈ -
AMT-1170 1/24 Reefer Semi Trailer (Re-Issue) $135.95 TBA

Wishful thinking on my part, so keep your fingers crossed for 2022 or 2023. I doubt there's a whole lot more yet-to-be-announced from Revell for 2022 after this latest group.

Revell 32 Ford Roadster REVISED (former Rat Roaster tool)
Casey replied to Mr. Metallic's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
No, that was debunked when the rat Roaster debuted. @Brett Barrowdid a rather comprehensive comparison of the differences, IIRC. The Rat Roaster was designed using new tech, not old school 1/10 master buck and pattern work. -
That was posted a few months ago, and iIRC, was fan who stopped by the Round2 offices while on a road trip, or similar.

This bodes well for the 1/16 IROC-Z being reissued semi-soon, too. π

What are the odds Revell will reissue their 1999 Silverado kit?
Casey replied to Jonathan's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Excellent, I would say. π 1999 Chevy Silverado Custom Pickup Item no. 14538 -
It contains both (or at least did in previous versions) with the correct BOP pattern, too. Unless I missed it, the scale isn't on the box, either...nor the decal sheet. That decal sheet is amazing, and will sell a few kits on its own, which is maybe part of the reason Revell didn't feel terrible releasing the old 1/25 Revell Snap-Together kit again. The '85 Camaro Z/28 (great to see that one return with the multi-color decal options, thanks, Mike) was also originally a snap together kit, but with Revell's 5-step rating system, would fir right it at level 3 or so. Many good reissue choices by Revell in this go 'round. π

This one, too: Revell '55 Chevy Bel Air βStreet Machine"Item No. 14519 Presumably the ex-Monogram 1/24 '55 Chev kit. And the modified ex-Stacy David "Rat Roaster": Revell 1932 Ford Rat RoadsterItem no. 14524

I have hanging (about 10" down from finished ceiling) LED light fixtures like these, which I would highly recommend. Easy to install (but you do need to plan ahead for the outlet, but there are hardwired versions, too), easy to move and adjust, and plenty of good light year round. Good lighting is important, so don't skimp here: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Commercial-Electric-4-ft-64-Watt-Equivalent-Integrated-LED-White-Shop-Light-Linkable-3200-Lumens-4000K-Bright-White-5-ft-Cord-Included-54103161/205331022?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&pla&mtc=Shopping-BF-F_Brand-G-Multi-NA-Multi-NA-Feed-PLA_LIA-NA-NA-Catchall_PLA&cm_mmc=Shopping-BF-F_Brand-G-Multi-NA-Multi-NA-Feed-PLA_LIA-NA-NA-Catchall_PLA-71700000014585962-58700001236285396-92700067144412479&gclid=CjwKCAjw3cSSBhBGEiwAVII0Z9kV0goS2YPSeR3kQzb6cxWc2_QfJyHUTGKZyRUQnhQS2hSYqjxYKhoCgBAQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

At Walmart (at least one store)
Casey replied to Classicgas's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I think the distinction is between finding something you were looking for at a lower price than expected, versus buying something because the price was low. And let's not use the excuse "there's no LHS near me!". People have been using mail order for decades, so buying online is always an option. Factor in the money you spend on fuel, insurance, maintenance, etc., for the vehicle you drive to get to the store (completely ignoring your time, as if that's a valueless commodity) and that $10 shipping cost isn't much more than what you are already spending-- maybe far less. -
