  1. Mike, I have a perfect unused chassis and most of the other parts for it other than the lower control arms. Let me know if you still need it.
  2. Hi John, I have an unused set you can have. The wing glass pieces are broken off but can be reattached. The glass itself is undamaged. PM me if you are interested. Nothing needed in return. -Rich
  3. Hi John, Here's a photo. I have a full set of original tires if you need more than one. All the '61 Comet kits I've had came with narrow whitewalls. I chose to use wide ones on the ones I built. I also have a full set of hubcaps if any of yours are damaged. There is one hubcap (below tire) that is more shiny than the set of 4. I included a photo of one rim too but should have a full set if any of yours are damaged. You are welcome to whatever you need, no charge. PM me -Rich
  4. I have original kit tires and wheel covers as well as rims, etc. I'm not quite sure what you mean by chrome outer wheel. Are you looking for a stock wheel cover or is it possibly a promo? -Rich
  5. Lee, I can send a set of tail lights. I cast some for another member a while ago and when I opened a sealed kit to get one to copy, they were missing so I opened another and ended up making some extras. Just PM your address if you still need them. -Rich
  6. Always happy to help out, Al.
  7. Thanks, I didn't realize the kits were 31's. The Special Interest Series Cabriolets come up for decent prices if you keep watch.
  8. Well I'm glad I don't seem to be the only one who loves the old Monogram kits. When they first came out in the 60's, I wasn't too interested in the older years or hot rods. I remember building the Black Widow and 58 T'bird and maybe a couple of others but was building mostly AMT, Revell, and Johan kits. Over the last few years I've really come to appreciate these old Monogram kits and have added a few to my collection. Most of the ones I have built have the plastic polished and no paint on the bodies. I have multiples of a lot of the Monogram reissues but have not built any of them. I guess I'm nostalgic because they really don't do anything for me even though they are the same basic kits. I just like the look and feel of the old plastic. Most all the models I build are original issues no matter what company made them. I agree with Randy about the other old kits too and have many built and unbuilt. I just added another NOS Blue Beetle and an NOS Futurista to my Monogram stash as well as another NOS AMT 60 Lincoln and another NOS SMP 60 Chevy pickup. I must be a little obsessed too! Photo shows most of my original older NOS Monogram kits. -Rich
  9. I'm glad they are the right ones. PM me your address and I'll send them on Monday. Do you want all 4 tires and the inserts or just 2 inserts. Either way is fine with me. Nothing needed in return. -Rich
  10. Hi Cary, I thought you'd find these easily. I've been getting ready for a move and have been quite busy packing things but made time last night to look for the whitewalls. I think these may be the right ones. The 3 photos with no flash look yellow but the whitewalls are white. I believe they came with the 59 Chevy as well as some other cars, not sure which these particular ones came with. Do these look right to you? If you can use them they are yours. -Rich
  11. I figured I might as well give this a try. I have an NOS kit with a cracked windshield. The rear glass is fine. I tried glass from a Johan F-85 and AMT Tempest, Chevy II and a couple of others but they don't fit. I am checking the auction site regularly also. I have a lot of parts, mostly from kits that are over 20 years old. --Thanks, Rich
  12. I have the AMT rear bumper (tail lights are part of it) and the vertical pieces that go above it. They are still on the chrome tree. PM me if you want them, nothing needed in return. -Rich
  13. Carl, I believe I have NOS parts from a Monogram 1/24 kit. I just need to double check. I also have NOS AMT parts but the tail lights go into the bumper so I'm guessing it's the wrong one. -Rich
  14. Mark, I have these used ones. The front chrome is really pretty nice but the rear bumper chrome is pretty worn. Also, one end of the rear one looks like it was broken off and glued back on. If you want these, let me know. I can paint the rear one or both with Molotow chrome if you want me to but it would have to dry a while before I send them. These are from a kit. Nothing needed in return. -Rich
  15. Scott, I have these used ones. They are not perfect but better than nothing. Let me know if you are interested. - Rich
  16. Thanks Paul, Gerald, Glen, Tom, David, and Al. I really appreciate all your comments. -Rich
  17. Mario, very nice job on this 62! That color looks superb and your detailing is excellent. The first 3 photos look especially realistic.
  18. I really like this one Matthew. Wonderful engine detail. Great colors and looks good with the vinyl roof.
  19. Thanks John, I really appreciate your comments. A busy background doesn't bother me but I took another look and see what you mean about the car on the box looking like it's part of my model. I see why the background could be a distraction to some people. I just never thought about it. And you are correct, the next to last photo does show the true colors better than the other photos. I was closer to the model when I took that photo. I know I need to get better lighting. I added another light but it's not enough. I think I'm going to buy a light box which will have different color backgrounds. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. By the way, your work bench looks less cluttered than mine! -Rich Thank you Carl!
