Thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments on this milestone build for me. One of the most important things I noticed on my previous attempts was the rear ride height was too wide and high. So I narrowed the rear end and lowered the rear spring so it would look more realistic. Also I custom mixed the orange paint to look closer to the box art. Again thank you for looking!

Well after 50 years of trying to complete this model, I have finally completed an Orange Crate model. Back in 1973 my father bought me this kit to keep me busy on our vacation in L.A. California. He asked me what I wanted, and this kit was it. So he purchased this along with a tube of glue. After multiple attempts and 3 other kits, I've finally succeeded at completion of my 'Holy Grail' kit. Its not perfect by no means, but everything works. Thanks for looking.
