Beautiful work, the polar opposite of the '55 Gasser I did recently.

Nice work, always liked that body style.

Thank you, it's not the Badman kit. I wish I could find one. This is the Revell '55 Chevy that some say is the same body shell as the Badman, I modified the wheel arches and removed the side trim. I had started this kit years ago with the intention of going a different direction.
Started building again and took another look and decided to go this route, I really enjoy the process of doing the patina and weathering.

Just finished my second build after several years off, It's built as a barn find gasser that's been brought back mechanically so it could be used but the body shell has been left untouched.

Yeah, I know but it looks cool this way.
That's just the angle the manifold I had put them at so I went with it, That's the best part about scale models is that the build doesn't actually have to function.

The Webbers were out of the parts bin, don't honestly recall what kit they were from.
No, I built it as a semi-rat. Basically an old body with a newer chassis and driveline.

Haven't even visited the site in a long time, here's my '32. I know it's missing the windshields surround, not sure where it went.
The engine is just a bit of a made up job like most of the car is, wanted something different.

You better stay away from the automotive forums then, they go horribly off topic on a regular basis

It's threads like this that really bring a community together, you learn peoples other interests outside just scale modelling.

How is it off topic? It's a thread about bikes.

Thanks, The Raleigh is turning out to be the find or the century for me since I'm 6'6" it's really hard to find a used bike that fits me properly.

I absolutely love the Peugeot and it rides like a dream but I'm just a bit cramped on it which makes long rides a chore, When I did the eleven miles yesterday on the Raleigh I had no idea I had gone that far until I got home and mapped my ride on Googlemaps.

Did my normal short ride this morning which I just found out is a tick under four miles which is a nice quick ride.

This is another Raleigh I got for free (can't believe my luck) that my eleven year old son has been riding, It's a 1984 Raleigh 12 speed and he stays right with me on it.
This one needed nothing but air in the tires and a seat although I have now replaced both tires because they were the originals when we got it.
