I owned a '61 Starliner the same color back in 1970-71. I traded it to a friend for a '54 Buick because the transmission was slipping. He had it a couple of months & the trans. went. He lived out in the country on a couple hundred acre farm & poured gas on it & fried it. I wish I had it to fix now. You don't think about in the future it'll be rare & worth a lot of money.😩

Had a fantastic trade with Chuck aka Rocketman 455. I got a Johan '63 Olds conv. I've wanted for a long time. I'd trade with Chuck anytime.🤗

I got a PM from the same poster this morning telling me that muller12 had a '63 Olds conv. for sale. Same wording as was sent to Michelle other than '63 Olds instead of Camaro. I noticed that they're new to the forum & have 0 postings.

When that little voice says something doesn't seem right it's best to take notice. Otherwise you're bound to regret it and asking why didn't I pay attention to that feeling.
I listened to that voice & bought the models from Hobbylinc.

I figured it was to good to be true & now I know. I usually buy from Hobbylinc or Scalehobbiest & that's where I'm going to stay. Thanks everybody.

Thanks for the input. I'd rather pay more on Hobbylinc or Scalehobbiest & know I'll get it.

Has anyone on here bought anything from them? I don't find any reviews on them & I want to be sure they're legit. They've got a couple models I'd like to get at a good price.

I've already cancelled my debit card & got a new one. I checked my account & found a "company" called bestduka.com took the money out. I looked it up & found this is a scam. My banks going to get the money back for me. It was a little under $60.00 for two models. Not a lot of money but any amounts too much if you don't get what you order. I told my wife I appreciated her doing this but to let me check these places before buying anything. She knows very little about computers & thought the site was legit.

Very interesting. There is no mention of anyone buying from them.
And that worries me.

My wife told me she ordered me a couple models from this site earlier this week. They have really good prices but I've never heard of them. I find very little in reviews. Has anyone here ordered from them. I'm hoping they're a legit company.

Got mine today, Another great issue. They seem to get better with each new issue.

Hobby models is a scam site. I ordered a model from them about a year ago & never got it. After a month & not getting the model I emailed them quite a few times & called them a number of times & never got an answer. My bank reimbursed me but it took a couple of months. There rating are horrible . They also go by the name Internet Hobbies. Avoid them like the plague.
