I just bought a 1:16 Petty Charger kit and I am wanting to convert it to either the 71 K&K Insurance Buddy Baker or 5 Stacey Neil Bonnet car. Any pics of these cars as far as cages and engines go? Havent found anything except outside pics of each with Google.

It actually does have a black wash on it, grill is pretty much black. The flash took away from it in the pic.

Just cut the spindles off and reglue them higher, or you could flip the spindles upside down but then you could use your tie rod and have posable steering.

lrlocke01 ... how did you get those impeteous decals to cooperate with you ??
Also , do the tyres in this new release have the "Pad Printed" insignias ?
Beautiful work , by the way ! Looks great in (what looks like) F7 green !
They went down surprisingly well. Didnt even have to use decal set, I was really surprised. I dreaded putting them on. The kit tires do have Goodyear on them but they are very small and not real defined. These tires came from the AMT 69 GTX kit.

Thanks for the comments guys

Beautiful! How did you handle the black on the door scallops?
They are decals that come with the kit.

I'm going to post some more pics later. I'll give that a try Charlie, thanks.

Does anyone know where to get some of the Shabo dry transfers or decals for tires? I have searched the net with no luck.
