    R.I.P Quint Stires
I really don't know what to say..Today at 3:45 Eastern Standard Time, My good friend Quint Stires died.. He was only 48.. He suffered from stage 4 Thyroid cancer. He has two sons Mike age 14 and James age 16,, He didn't even get to see them graduate high school! He was best known in the automotible hobby as the GTOAA 1970 Pontiac GTO technical advisor.. My prayers go out to his family, he was too young

Here is the second one; a 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8, I built this one box stock except for the hood scoop, I cannot find the model, the only parts I have left are the Wheels, Rear bumper and hood scoop.. I painted the pink and black, and my stepdad did the silver paint and speckeled the interior..

Here is the first model, it is a 1968 Pontiac Firebird, built completely box stock, this is the only pic I hav of it, I disassembled it shortly after and it is now in the pile of never ending parts.. The paint SUCKS!

Nice model, a few things pop out that make me guess that; why are the side mirrors painted yellow? Why are the gauges missing the face details to them, and why is the white area not disrupted like it would be on a real car(missing the shading in of the door lines).. Also, if that is a Ferarri, then why does it say Fiat on the side?

That engine looks beautiful! I have always loved the first gen Monte's, not too many around.. Keep up the great work!

Well Steef, considering that the kit has been reissued a dozen or so times, and that the model itself is the wrong bodystyle, I would say it really has no value, howevr, since it is still shrinkwrapped, it may be special, mabe $15-$20.. If it is the original issue, I know there are people out there who collect vintage box art.. BTW, I never really consider a kit rare, Think about it, the make hundreds of thousands mabe even mllions of kits, and then you have to figure that they have all been reissued, at least once in some form or another..Rare is a tough one..What some may consider 'rare" others may not..

There was a Pinto around here that had a Rolls Royce style grille and a rear continental kit..

  15. BIRD67 added a post in a topic 1970 Pontiac GTO Super Stocker??

Thanks for the tip Mark, but I have already made up my mind to do my conversion.. I can always combine it with the 1972 Pontiac GTO.. Besides, I do not like to work with resin, unless it is the easy stuff like spoilers...I am only 14...I have plans to hack the wheel wells out of the '72 Goat and do a swap and put them on the 1970.. Do you have any pictures of what's inside of the box? I would like to see the body before I buy the kit so I can print it and make notes as for what to do.. Thank you for the help! Nothing that styrene, putty and a few X-acto blades can't fix!
