BTW, the red hose from the junction box goes forward to the fuel pump. Black (inner) hose is for filling the 'sippin' jugs. There's a full one on the front seat

Early this year, friend sent me a set of truck wheels. I searched thru the junkyard for stuff to do something with it. Large tank was 2 half side tanks from a RC Jeep. I built up the heads on an old junk engine to fit a set of Hemi type valve covers. Extended the frame so I could squeeze in the scratched, imagineered, induction. All WIPs can be seen in my FOTKI: http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/1/clay_gratz/1/crudd/ Finished.
  9. COOL !!! Different take on exhausts, and is that a seat from a 2holer for a rear window ? Brilliant ! Rat hauler is neat ! Nice stable off rods.
  10. Sweet lookin 1:1 Nice start on the model.

  15. That's great !! I like pro-street also. Don't recalll seeing one of those bodys before. Was that a mass produced kit or resin?
  16. Beautiful model ! Great work. Detailing and craftsmanship are top notch !!!
  17. Nice work !! Good to see another 'older guy'modeling. I just hit 75 and started back modeling in '98.
  18. This body was in the salvage yard for a time. It had been widened and had the rear butchered off....Failed attempt to mate it to a set of 40 Ford fenders. Dug it out for this build and chopped it, then narrowed it back to 32 proportions. Rest is scratched and bashed. front and rear wheels/tires are more of my castings (not for sale, BTW)
  19. Thanks, guys. That 32 is another I finished early this year. I'll post it. Titled "32 something"

    33 Willys

Just to show that Geezer's Garage can put out a shiney one once in a while This doesn't look like all the work it took to get this from a 33 Willys gasser. But you can see it all here if you want: http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/1/clay_gratz/1/33-willies/ Leveled out the coon hunting headlights and mated then to 29 ford fenders. Wheels and tires are my home castings. Those rear fats were cast from a master that was made from two waterbottle caps.
  21. Masking tape would definitly cut better
  22. Nice work !!! The more beat up and weathered these old trucks are, the better they look . Great model.
