  1. Wires turned out well. Covered spare too. I’d seen this, but like it better. I have the blue and red issues. I’ll look at lowering mine, and have plan for further upgrades to the Bburago Atlantique. Truck tires on delicate 57’s seem to be a trend 😱🤦🏻‍♂️
  2. I know you knew that. Amodel does great stuff, 1/72 aircraft. Hope they’re thriving.
  3. https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/articles/us-racing/the-legend-of-the-gray-ghost-us-muscle-car?v=7516fd43adaa
  4. Found it. Fun trip, took a lot of pics. Fastcars guys ran support for it, our XK, and 7 other cars. 2500. Lots of differences. 2300 didn’t scale down well compared to this.
  5. The Corto coupe may be a 2500. There was similar one on CO Grand this year, ran in MM and took class at PB last year. Tom Perkins sold his to RL. It was blue with wires no discs or spats. Solid car now overrestored. Perkins also had ex Donald Campbell SC that had 16k mi on it. The red car is unknown to me.
  6. If you have health problems, STOP TAKING ORDERS. Refund unfilled orders. Simple. Painful, but necessary.
  7. Pretty cars. What’s with the red Atlantique next to it? Never have seen that car.
  8. Look at HL. They’ve had LED ring lights with a magnifier and cover in past, where I got mine awhile back.
  9. I have never seen that box art on a Horned Toad. Never saw any new, and have looked for a decade or two. Today I learned….
  10. Also, the Fuel Injection script on fender from annuals disappeared in 63 coupe and convert reissues. It reappeared on roadster with I think the red car box art. The 63 coupe has it again too I believe, I don’t recall when. The Street Rods 73-74 issue had 67 backup light for awhile on the 63 when they back dated the 67. No clue on when that was fixed, next one I bought was the black car box art, it was correct. One of the more dependable guys knows.
  11. Nothing mentioned thus far, but interval with Cutlass was surprisingly brief. Pent up market so sooner I’d think.
  12. Remarkable cars, bargain. No stupid $3-4MM garage queens. Shut up and race. Riley and Scott, Dallara, Michelotto. Doing heavy lifting for manufacturers. Fun.
  13. Green Hornet on SyFy network tonite, Thurs and few others. Green Hornet car is cool, been waiting.
  14. Ed was great guy. I bought stuff from him waaay back. Good convos, knew a ton as you found out George. Hadn’t heard name in an age.
  15. Can’t believe you’re in on the Coronet! Charger isn’t in this vid I can tell, did I miss it? I fast forwarded with sound off becuz Chad
  16. In on Coronet and Vette. I don’t recall both tops included in the Vette, despite annuals and many reissues. Coronet earlier than I expected.
  17. Gary you’ll need a trailer to attach server with the full 0846 thread too. 🤣
  18. Great Model. Post that over in FChat too. Im Sfumato over there.
  19. Pretty much what it is. Sad. I laugh at tv shops. Looking in background and you see tons of projects incomplete, then a show about an approaching deadline thrash. It’s always best work when everyone is in a hurry. Wait, what?😵‍💫 Then there’s clowns like Phantomworks. Guy kvetches and complains about everything, decides what customers want, and bills bejeezus out of a job. Bills for mistakes too. Hey kids, you broke it, you own it. Just needs a good punch in the face.
  20. The other issue that comes up with great craftsmen is being flaky. I’ve had great guys do work, or part of it, and just ghost, excuses, whatever. A great 1-man Porsche shop has had a friends 993 TT for 6yr. Not done. Only in for engine rebuild, clutch, update suspension. Parts mostly in hand. Tech is a friend too. Skills, knowledge, personality, but finish it. Yes quickie jobs generate cash flow. Hire kid to do some, learn. But finish it.
