  1. Looks great Tim. As for the chassis and such is it the same as the 377 / 378?
  2. I t was the cab. I had to make new cab mounts and of course the cab is not square. It looks ok but I wish it was better.
  3. Things are looking good. I am glad you got the bumper figured out. I cant wait to see it done.
  4. LOL. I ran out of the license plates. I need to find more.
  5. Its Testors metallic green or sapphire or something like that.
  6. Some teaser pics. I still have a ways to go. The cab just will not sit on the frame rite. It seems to have a twist in it. I am not sure if I going to use the AMT fenders or a set of aluminum half wraps I have. The paint came out good though.
  7. I like it as well and think that some of you could stand to give the guy a break. My models certainly are not on par with some of the creative forces on this forum but know one ever rips on me. So why rip on him.
  8. From what I have heard it is basically the same as italeri's original 378 but with the proper sleeper
  9. $41.00 each plus shipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-2010-1-24-ITALERI-PETERBILT-378-LONG-HAULER-TRUCK-/110531589989?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item19bc323765
  10. I got the testors decal maker but it is a pain to use. Any pointers or better products?
  11. As I was test fitting stuff I noticed that the sleeper definitely did not look right. An internet search verified that for me.
  12. Ya they compliment each other real nice. Its no lowboy but its not bad.
  13. I love it. Sanding was no big deal. I put it on the belt sander. LOL
  14. My KW needed a companion and I found this cheap on ebay so I scooped it up. Sorry there are no build pics but I lost my camera for a couple days while I built it. For future reference what is a good paint to replicate wood decking. I think I am going to replace the wheels with white 2 hole budd wheels.
  15. Here are some pics of the headache rack that I got from Matthew (Highway)for my KW W900. It does exactly what I wanted which is cover the hole in the back of the cab for the sleeper. Its a good resin piece and other then sanding it was an easy touch to the truck. The paint is Rustolium chrome from autozone. The pics dont do it justice. That is good paint.
  16. Well I picked this up for a song at Hobby lobby. I was thinking about building the wrecker but decided to make a strait truck out of it. I am not sure what I will do with the wrecker body at the moment. It is very very nice so I might build it as a cargo for my flat bed but the scales are off. If any one wants to trade for it I may be willing. On to the pics. This is what I bought. This where I am at. Engine still needs plumbed and more detail needed in the cab.
