  1. Another source is the Eastwood Company. Look here: http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?itemID=...temType=PRODUCT
  2. There are pictures of another car on the Griots Garage websites; Griots Garage
  3. Overall, the dash looks kind of "flat", for instance the rings around the instruments. Also, the interior surface finishes don't look as varied as one would expect on a real car. Still, a very nice model.
  4. Harry, I haven't been on this site for a while, so hadn't seen any of these posts before today. Great idea, but I was really disappointed after the first one or two when you started posting the answer in the first post. It would be a lot nicer for future viewers if you left the answer until after the initial voting. That way the new viewer could see the voters judgments. Thanks for your consideration. Bill
  5. Thanks, lots of interesting pictures. My favorite was the stretched VW racecar transporter.
  6. It has been working ok today for me, but often lately (past week?), I felt like I was back on dial-up!
  7. Modelhaus has the long ram manifold setup based on the Johan engines. Seems like it was about $7.
  8. I can't see pictures in any postings with Postimage pictures. Anyone else having this problem Wednesday night?
  9. Very nice! What are the wheels and where did you get them?
  10. 27 Ford Roadster 48 Mercury Coupe 55 Ford 62 Pontiac Grand Prix 63 Pontiac Tempest Lemans 65 & 66 Buick Skylark Grand Sport BMW 2002 BMW 3.0CS Ferrari 250GT Lusso Jaguar XK 140 and XK 150 Jaguar XJ12 Coupe
  11. I would use one of the autobody products designed for this purpose. I have Dupont Prepsol I've used for 1:1 painting. I wipe it on with one shop paper towel and wipe it off with a second. If you are paranoid, you can do this a couple of times! You can buy this at autobody supply stores, but I think you can also find something similiar at Home Depot or similiar stores.
  12. Lots of interesting cars, however... In a lot of your pictures, you have cut off the right front corner of the car which is very distracting to the viewer. Maybe if you took one step back, you could get the whole front end in. As it is, the viewer's eye is drawn to the missing area which takes away from the overall interest of the picture. Otherwise, thanks for the nice pix of lots of interesting, buildable stuff.
  13. At least for sale to the public...... I like your attitude (and apparently share your birth year).
