       The maintenance went very smoothly. With the recent database problems, a table got very very big, and needed some surgery. You should experience any changes.

    Yes the metal parts had a great deal of flash and mold stubs.I had to use a Dremel and reinforced cut off wheel to remove some of them,especially the front axle!

    Received this old Hubley 32 Chevy and decided to give it a try!The kit was missing the decklid so I thermoformed one out of plastic .I did not like the spare tire carriers molded inyo the front fenders,so I cut them out and filled the openings with plastic and putty.Came out well.

  10. ok it seems to have worked,dunked it into the boiling water for for 20 count.I glued the rumble seat to ensure it retains its shape.Very cool!

  12. Recently received this incomplete diecast Hubley 32 Chevy in trade.Missing the trunk lid so I cut a piece of sheet styrene slightly oversized and clamped it to obtain the correct curvature.The plan is to immerse it in boiling water and allow it to cool.
