  1. thats going to be a nice build. Here is the last F-body I saw. Sad day at the track.
  2. this was the very first kit I ever built way back in junior high. Mine of course did not look this nice, great job, love the paint.

  4. So, finally got my "workbench" sorta put together so I can get back to building. Im stilling looking through boxes to find all my building supplies, but was able to put some stuff together for this car. Found some wheels and tires they came from a Revell Beretta prostreet. My new work area Wheels and tires Oh, can anyone tell me how I can adjust the topic name, the way people add "update" and stuff like that. Thanks
  5. Sadly all projects have stopped. My wife and i are moving this month, so all my spare time is going to packing and cleaning. I don't see myself building for at least two months. My new work area will be in the new garage but, I need build shelves and a work bench. I'll try and post pictures of the new workbench when I get around to building it. Thanks to all for reading.
  6. I am very jealous of all you guys that have dedicated rooms to hobby in. My wife and I rent a duplex that is split main floor, top floor with a shared basement for storage and laundry. So my "room" is the 10' x 8' storage room we have, I use an old dresser with an Ikea desktop top that sits on op of it. The lighting isn't great but it does the job. There is only one outlet in the room, and when I say one I mean one plug-in. I have an extension cord running from the other room to a power strip. Also there isn't any heat so I have a space heater, but that has it's own extension cord to the other room as well beacuse it draws too much current to be plugged in with all the other stuff. Also when it rains there is a stream of water that runs onder my feet to the other side of the room, so everything is up on blocks of wood. My spay "booth" is literally a cardboard box on a bench in the enrty way to the basement, when the weather is good I spray outside. I can't wait till we move and maybe have a room for my self. Thanks for reading this somewhat short rant.
  7. That looks great, I love those tires. Where did you get them? I'm still on the hunt for wheels and tires for this bad boy.
  8. well it's been a long time since I've made any progress on the Nova. I was sick and then I hurt my back, you know life got in the way. Here is what I've been up to.
  9. I got lucky and found the 1970 Skyline 2000 GTR kit at a model show over the weekend and was able to pick it up for only $13. I can't wait to build it. I was able to get all three of these kits for $35.
  10. I started a new project whileI wait for parts for my 70 Chevelle. I picked up this 66 Nova and decided to go prostreet with it. I decided to try some new stuff. I tryed my hand at building a cage and so far I'm pretty happy with it, I still need to do some clean up work. Put together a mockup. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.
  11. That's kinda cool, but what happens when it's raining. It would soak your interior. Still cool looking though.
  12. The Chevelle got put on the back burner for awhile. I need some styrene but the hobby shop I go to is out, it's cool it gave me a chance to work on my '66 Nova. I also had a question for anyone that is willing to listen. How do I change the Title and or description of a Post? Thanks
  13. Channeled the floorpan today, it turned out pretty good. Still need to do final touch ups and then paint.
  14. I'd be happy to take those wheels off your hands. Let me know.
