  2. According to the YouTube video from Round2 this has been in stores but they have sold out and are now doing another run. Has anyone bought one? Tower Hobbies and Modelroundup are listing them as 'coming soon' ?
  3. I'm thrilled this is coming out....but is it just me or are those tyres sporting some strange grooves in the sidewall and the lettering in completely the wrong place....?
  4. My order took 11 months but the quality IS amazing.....
  5. I got the F8 sleeper cab and fenders but missed the engine before Matt's problems so thanks for the link!
  6. Can't believe I started this thread over 3 years ago! Other projects took over my Roarin' Rat model though I still have plans to finish it. Nice to see the decals for Green Onions!
  7. A very nice offer and I would be willing to pay the post. I have just ordered a BM Camaro so I will check if those wheels will work. If not, I will get back to you. Thanks for taking the time and effort!
  8. These look like they may work. you do know I live in the UK don't you! Happy to pay costs if you are not going to use them? In the meantime, I am going to order a BM Camaro or two.......
  9. Really good information from you all, thanks! I think for ease of finding and also because I want the model, I will get a couple of the Baldwin Motion Camaros sent over from your side of the pond. Thanks again for the info
  10. Wow! Great response guys! I would like the BM Camaro for my stash anyway - none in the UK that I can find though so I may get a couple in the New Year. The MAD ones look good too but I would need to Alclad those I suppose. As for tyres, not too concerned about the treads as long as they have the right "look". These sizes were popular in the UK in the '80's and I have a few cars I want to build from that era so I may have to get the raised lettering done, maybe laser cut or photo etch, possibly even get the tyres 3D printed! This may be getting too complicated!!
  11. Maybe I should have said, " best ones I am likely to find!". Thanks all for your replies
  12. They look great Kris, will sort an order - will have a look if there is anything else I need!
  13. Thanks for the replies, not sure I'm going to find any Johan ones over here in the UK. I have a Monkeemobile but a reissue, still I will check it out. They are for a 1/25th project, not even sure they are genuine Cragars yet
  14. Looking for some Cragar 5 spokes, either resin or from a kit. I have seen the Speed City ones and the spokes look too wide to me. does anyone know of better ones before I go searching?
  15. I contacted Mark also a few weeks ago and posted the information on a UK truck model forum but there was little response, even though there are quite a few US truck modellers on there. Truck Model World magazine almost closed earlier this year but was sold to a new publisher last minute though it is now going to a bi-monthly publication. Perhaps with forums and Face Book there isn't the appetite for a printed magazine. It would be a shame though, I much prefer to have a magazine to look at!
  16. maybe the fact this isn't the '90's is the problem.....
  17. you can always cut the kit ones, especially if you don't want the "bug eye" look
  18. Gerry does CAD work for several resin casters over here in the UK. Does excellent wheels and tyres so should have no problems designing your masters http://mossie3dcad.com
  19. I was at a Vintage commercial show this weekend with a large model show and Jan Rosecky from Czech Truck Model was there with his Etch parts. He had brought one of the above kits which are still produced and I wanted it but it was £80 GBP - around $120 and that is without P&P! I'm sure there is room for another AA model!
  20. They are 1/24th scale Alan, using the Italeri kits as a donor
  21. I may have been wrong about the AA being available, I took this at an IPMS show in the UK in 2009 but no details so may be a GAZ? I have mentioned this thread to a military modeller (they tend not to look on car forums!) and he thinks there would be interest from "that side" too but again wonders why with all the investment and time so far that it would be necessary to buy a kit just for an engine, rather than including an accurate one with yours. Obviously your choice and you seem well on the way to doing this, good luck, hope you sell outside the US!
