  1. I can't wait to get a couple sets. I got some things already lined up for them!!
  2. They are awesome. I can't wait to buy a couple sets. Is it cast in the 60 durometer like the rest?
  3. I got a sample of a tire from him, and it was a "bad" tire and I was still impressed. I got a set coming to me of something else and I will post pics when I get them. I am actually very excited, for once. haha
  4. I understand what the price is verse the cost of making them, but I just am not into semi's enough to buy them (even if they are cheap). Hopefully one of you guys will pick them up, but what other options are out there at a descent price?
  5. http://cgi.ebay.com/BILL-DRENNENS-ALUMINUM...=item33585708f1 Anyone have something like this but in a descent price range?
  6. Well we have something in the works, and from what everyone tells me it should be a good product. I am sending him a couple tires and we will see what can be done.
  7. Awesome, I will send you a PM very soon with details. I browed your site and I seen you were able to do hollow tires, so you might just be the guy I need.
  8. I am looking for a person who can cast me some resin tires that are soft. made out of something like Urethane. I can send you the tire itself, and can pay(not much at first) or trade. I got a couple things left but not much. I am looking to get a couple sets made, and want to mess around with them. If anyone can do something like that, please let me know. We can haggle over the details via PM.
  9. I am 99.9% sure it's for that kit. you can use the xtreme kit or a regular kit for a donor.
  10. yup I kept watching this thread as it went along. just had some issues at home ( as always) lol and was not online a lot. The only thing I could add to make it just a bit better, is a bed cover. Hinge it like the hood but in reverse and I think it would set it apart from the crowd just a bit more. I am very happy that this model actually got someone to enjoy building it.
  11. Well I got my first auction. I am probably going to list all my diecast on there to sell to pay some bills.
  12. wow. I am not sure if I am tired or what, but I did not see the diecast section at all. Thanks for the help with this!!
  13. I am wondering if there is a auction site just like emodelcars that are for diecast cars/truck ect? I need to sell my diecast collection to pay some bills. Any help would be appreciated.
  14. NO. this is a full "hobby grade" r/c. What most people are going to do is make there won frame out of brass and use the rest of the truck. You will be able to throttle and steer the way you want to.
  15. This is a great product (untested) and you will see a ton of builds using 1/24 bodies. There is also a set of aluminum axles being made by RC4WD and are about 52mm wide. (again not mass produced yet and things could change). I am going to pick one of these crawlers up and make a Dakota or an s10. I already have a build in the works of a 84 crew cab dually.
  16. Ben, you do have a PM. And what I mean when I say simulator is just a rim, but I would mount it maybe in the aluminum rim like a simulator on a 1:1. Does anyone know anything about these? http://cgi.ebay.com/KANSAS-CITY-CHIEFS-ERT...p3286.m20.l1116 http://cgi.ebay.com/1-24-SCALE-MODEL-1996-...id=p3286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.com/FORD-LOUISVILLE-COCA-C...id=p3286.c0.m14 And I was reading somewhere that there is a diecast from matchbox that was labeled 1:18th but it was actually 1:24. Anyone know anything about it?
  17. Ben, here is all I could find about afx: www.afxnscaleresin.150m.com Since there are really no good looking rims or the rims are not the size (depth) I am looking for this is what I am thinking about doing. The project I have in mind are these rims http://www.rpphobby.com/ProductDetails.asp...ctCode=RPP00002 with http://cgi.ebay.com/TSL-Bogger-Tires-8-uni...id=p3286.c0.m14 Now the rims and tires are going on a 1/24 scale project and I think I have figured out how to make these into a dually rear. I am now thinking I would need like a simulator type cover for the front and rear. That way I could hide the aluminum rims and it would still look like a correct dually. So out of the options are there any that are simulated dually rims? The 1/32 semi wheels seem they would be too big, but I love that build ROS There was actually a site I came across but I can't find it now. A guy made some dually resin rims just for the so real tires but it said he had his shop closed for a bit.
  18. Does anyone have any specs on them? diameter and are they simulators or rims?
  19. Ok. How many dually rims are out there? I try and research but all that comes up are the ones for the ford dually and the chevy dually. I am gathering parts for a build and am trying to find out what option I have.
  20. great job so far!! I am really liking the nose up ass down approach.
