  1. Just wrapped up this AMT 32nd scale Vette, was a fun build!  I cut the front and rear body portions from the frame and molded them to the body.  Used evercoat filler and Tamiya primer, shaved most the body.  Used House of Kolors Orion Silver and Solar Gold bases, topped with Tropical Glitz Apple Wine Kandy paint, then covered it all with Scalefinishes Gloss 500 Clear Coat.  The interior is sprayed with Tamiya Pearl White, I then used black flocking for the floors and top of the dash.  Wheels and tires came from Lowrider Model Car Parts and trim is mostly Bare Metal Foil. You can see more on this on my YouTube channel, thanks for checking it out!!

Thanks man! I'm glad it brings back memories like that for you! It has been one of my all time favorite cars ever since I first saw it in the early 80s(I have a cool story about that actually!). Yeah man, feel free to grab and post what you like. Just be sure to tag me when you do! 👍

I was just showing pops your post and updates, he really likes the build as well!  I'll definitely tag you in the post!

  3. Some progress pics from a little work this morning, laid down some black flocking, overall happy with it.  I normally use model master or Tamiya clear, after watching a few YouTube videos I tried using straight paint, model master flat and semi gloss black.  Also used some photo etched foot pedals.
