  1. Day Cab w/single screw is easy to to .. These are used inter City . I'm not sure the Doubles were legal for other than Toll Roads in Mi. then . They were Illegal on non-turnpike roads in Ohio then . Yup . Hollywood and "overpaid and ignorant technical directors" . Go for it Greg Thanx

  9. I tried for 3 Years to sell a collection for a close friend qith a very ill wife . I did go to a fb model sales page . The Aircraft , I still have and he changed his mind . He wants them back . I am good with this . I sold 25 + Car Kits to a Re-seller . I did get a decent price and he will make money , I was made offers of an outstanding $2 each to someone :"starting out building Model CARS" . This included NOS Sealed in Box kits . I responded sure , I'll remove the Shrink Wrap . He went ballistic . He did not agree I should protect my friend's interest and give them away . I pointed out I know , in a quick turn around he would sell these at Max Fair Market Value and beyond. While a Close to Fair Market Value with discount . That was all I was seeking . The concept was lost on him . I do take less as I am a builder / collector myself . I did not seek Top Dollar . My retirement funding is a joke ! Getting Rid of , I don't do . Share the Wealth , I am in .. Thanx
  10. Beautiful . The Woolights are a crown for this Jewel .. Thanx ..
  11. John Heyer cast the Imperial out of disappointment of the TKLM Version . I was signed up to buy one from John . He sols out to Ed Fluck Jr before I could generate the funds . Mr Fluck did not carry over the Imperial Casting . Nor the Packard Predicta . I sent all of the Early Resin Catalogs to the Model Car Museum a decade ago . TKM , SC Miller , AAM ect .. This is a '56 Hawk , SC Miller . A '64 Hawk conversion , John Heyer . Stock Studebaker (SP could not pay for the full Vinyl Roofs) Half Vinyl top , John Heyer or MCW Factory Laquer Paint . Enjoy
  12. I have a stalled WIP in the same colors . I like how this looks . Beautiful Replica .. Thanx ..
  13. With research and acess to parts you could build this or any kit Stock . I have a WIP Henry J to stock form . The Upholstery (underwater ocean cable cover) is one of my Stumbling Blocks .. Thanx ..
  14. I found on my '57 Mercury Pace Car a quick and clean method . Ty Slusher for the Masking Tape Method . Inadvertently I discovered "goo' 'o'l" Scotch Tape lifts decals both old and new off like magic . Ummm , does anyone have the Right Side Pace Car Decalst they are willing to part with ?? Oops moment . Thanx
  15. RE : Repairing fractured bodies and large Broken Model Parts . When all of the Putty / sanding / leveling / primer work is done I suggest these two steps prior to paint . Primer Sealer on all visible outside surfaces . Reinforcement under the repair areas . I used a Foil used to insulate home repair seams . Looks like Chrome Tape ot aluminum foil . Flexible on a Roll at all hardware outlets . It will flex while limiting the "Plasticity" as not to rupture re the repair or crack filler in my experience . Thanx ..
  16. This is the first Hundi Model Kit I ever saw . I Build / Collect all I can get my meat hooks on from all nations . Yes , I would buy /build a Yugo .. lol .. It did not have a Person in it . Year and Model I don't recall . Re-Sale Red works well for me on this . Comments ? Thanx

    57 300C

This looks so familiar . I did a Tribute Replica of this Same Car . Gaugin Red from MCW . I super detailed it with overspray and bare steel Floorboards as Mother Mopar and ALL of Detroit did for the '57 MY of Huge Sales , Overtime , no line shut downs , lack of QC and the most detrimental factor . Hiring ; Butchers , Bakers and Candlestick Makers to build cars filling the Void of Employee needed to slap these together . Good Read , Motor Trend Contest , "why I won't buy a New '59 MY Detroit Car . The best (worst) epitaph of a recent Big 3 Purchase won a Foreign Car from the Rag . AMC and Sudebaker did not register any entries . This is sure a Gem . Thanx ..
  18. Just my 2 cents here . My go to is Westley's Bleach White . Ivory Soap (99.9% Pure - No *Lanolin to soften hands) . *This is the niggler that will cause Fish Eyes . I use Ivory on Plastic Kits before any Process in my Builds . Thanx ..
  19. Yes I have . Top Quality Products and service . Modelhaus , Missing Link , Dave Dodge/MCW , ect business .. Thanx
  20. Great build ! The first paint job looks like the color of the Plastic in the '60 AMT Nomad JR Series re-pop I bought in the way back , The Cascade Green really makes this authentic . I did buy seat decals from Keith Marks for the '58 & '59 Impala MY's . He didn't list the '60 MY . I made a Copy paper replica for my Revelle '60 Impala . Your solution is quite unique and nicely done . I am limited to an Inkjet Printer . Kudos and stunning IMHO .. Thanx
  21. Difficult build and this is an excellent build . Thanx
