  1. I sure like the B400. Who makes the body? The Orange Crate body works really well over the Rat Roaster rolling chassis.
  2. Beautifully built Imperial and I love the photos.
  3. I missed this thread the first time around and being the promoter for Deuce Days in Scale which will hopefully take place again in Victoria BC Canada in July 2019 I am posting my Deuce builds in somewhat chronological order
  4. Beautiful trio. Look forward to your 1, 4, 6 &7 built with same color and wheels!!
  5. That is one incredible looking model car.
  6. You scored a pole position and victory with this one!!
  7. Great design with the convertible. I bet a 1/1 would have been a big seller.
  8. Thanks Tom - It is a Lola T-70 using a Tamiya slot car body, Fujimi GT40 chassis
  9. Really looking forward to seeing this model Under Glass
  10. The pink thing is actually a red thing [poor photo colour reproduction]. It is the Delta Wing in its preproduction configuration which was done at Dan Gurney's All American Racers factory. The production race car which ran at Le Mans and later in the American Le Mans Series in various configurations was built at the Panoz factory.
  11. Fantastic model. I have always been a Falcon guy, A few years ago I owned a very nice 65 V-8 4-speed hardtop which I regret selling. I thought it was great that Ford of Australia keep the Falcon nameplate alive for so long with production ending October 2016.
  12. Dan Gurney, one of the greatest racing car drivers and constructors of all times passed away January 14 at 86 years of age. There are other tributes on this forum under General but I thought it would be fitting for people to post their Dan Gurney models here Under Glass. I have been chipping away for a number of years on a list of models inspired by Dan Gurney. I have posted them sort of in chronological order from his first sanctioned racing drive in a hot rod at Bonneville to a my tribute Deuce 5W Coupe. Please post your own. Here's to Dan Gurney. RIP
  13. Talk about "a silk purse from a sow's ear". You really pulled this one off.
  14. Great project. I like them all. They bring back a lot of memories.
  15. Very hot looking hot rod in an intriguing color which in the photos has a butterscotch or caramel tone.. Pure eye candy
  16. Congratulations on sculpting a very attractive piece of hot rod art work!
  17. You really nailed the era look appropriately using an early Deuce kit.
  18. Great to see your very well done early Cougar which has always been a favorite of mine. I have an R&D Unique body which eventually become a Trans-Am. I remember seeing a new British Racing Green GT and was impressed how Jag-like the interior was with the "wood" dash, lots of gauges and even toggle switches.
  19. Thanks Curt They do look fantastic together. I am not saying same but different but there are similarities.
  20. Very well done conversion into one of the great cars of the 1980's
  21. I have been a fan of the Beatnik Bandit and Ala Kart since the Barris/Roth interview appeared in Rod & Custom magazine in the very early sixties. I would love to see a photo of both your Beatnik Bandit and Ala Kart posed together. I don't know if that ever happened in reality.
  22. Gasser/Catalina/Bonneville controversy aside the custom parts in this kit are very nice as was highlighted by the Brad Leisure box art on a previous issue.
  23. Looks fabulous as is and will only get better with suspension and wheels.
