  2. Oh yea I forgot to say in my other post that I got a $20 and $30 dollar gift cards for my LHS and a $20 gift certificate for Canadian Tire.
  3. Wow that's a sweet lookin nova! I love the look of it. Good job, I've been needing to get this kit but I still haven't. Oh well some day.
  4. Yea I'm just letting you know I'm talking a break from the 70 super bee, seeing since we got till the summer, so yea, I haven't even worked on it lately anyways, I'm still in, but need to refresh my self with some other projects.
  5. Well I'm not a bid fan of tuners, but this looks nice!
  6. Wow that looks good for giving you alot of trouble. Nice work.
  7. Well I got: Amt 55 cameo, Amt 68 camaro, Amt 04 GTO, a taymia weathering set, a pin vise, and a razar saw. I'll get some pics tomorrow because I'm typing this on my iPod touch, which I also got for Christmas!
  8. Thanks man!! And don't worry, I'll keep the pics coming. I'm going to knock out the interior tomorrow and then paint the body after the holidays.
  9. Ok guys, I'm starting another basic out of the box refresh build. I got this kit at a show for 5 bucks and I wish I would of bought ten more!!! I have the amt kit that has extensive body mods but the chassis and interior dissapered 6 months ago and I still haven't found it!! <img src="http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/angry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="angry.gif" /> And the funny thing is that the amt body will fit this chassis!! The car is going to be as close to cybergrey as I can find, because I love that color and the first 2010 camaro I saw was in that color. I know that the concept and the production version have a few differneces like the front bumper but I'm just building this so I can refresh my brains and consentrait on my detail and paint work. So guys here are the pics. The car I'm replicating <img src="http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/oo174/bowtiebadboy33/cybergreycamaro1.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> Here is the body <img src="http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/oo174/bowtiebadboy33/sonoma993.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> The rims I still need to dullcoat <img src="http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/oo174/bowtiebadboy33/sonoma994.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> And here is the chassis. I weathered it just a bit to look like it's driven but taken care of. Because if I owned one of these I know I would drive it alot!!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> <img src="http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/oo174/bowtiebadboy33/sonoma1006.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> and here's a couple close ups <img src="http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/oo174/bowtiebadboy33/sonoma1025.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> <img src="http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/oo174/bowtiebadboy33/sonoma1001.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> And now I'm going to start the interior <img src="http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/oo174/bowtiebadboy33/sonoma1014.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> <img src="http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/oo174/bowtiebadboy33/sonoma1017.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> Well thats it for now. Thanks for lookin and let me know what you think. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  10. I never new someone made the two door in resin. Do you have a link to it or a picture? But I might stay with this body because I'm going for a more stock lookin exterior.
  11. continued: Well guys thats it for now and let me know what you think.
  12. Ok guys! Well I'm starting another project. I got this kit for my birthday, which was the 14th. Well I was going to wait till the new year to start this, but I had soooo many ideas following through my head that I couldn't wait!! So First off I desided on making it a two door, shave the handles and paint it pearl white. Well I'm still going that way but I ran into a BIG problem. The kit was warped REALLY BADLY!!! Well I soaked it in warm water, nothing changed so I took the heat gun to it and straightened it back up. So I made new door lines and started the new center console, I'm going for a more stock lookin exterior and a wildly custom interior. Well thanks for lookin guys and here are the pics. The kit: What it's suppost to look like!!! inside the box heres the body without modificaions here is the car stock and here is where I'm at on it still got some work to do to this side and still have to start the other side!! and here is the start of the center console
  13. Yea the oil pan wasn't on it and the sub frame was sitting on the ground when I took the pics so the engine will sit higher. And the convertible boot will be scratch built because I'm going for something more moderen, since everything else is!!
  14. Ok guys, it's saturday again!! Post up what you got on your work bench!! So this is what I got, my 70 super bee that is going in a different direction, more like a custom now. but if you guys want more pics and information on it, go to the muscle car build off. Here's some pics! Now post up whats on your bench!!
  15. Ok here is my first update on the 70 super bee. Well I've changed plans alittle bit. Well I put a HUGH gash in the roof with windows from a caddie and I was mad!! Than I tryed making a vinal top and screwed that up, so I just desided to chop the top completely off. I am using wheels off a dicast that I've been wanting to use on something for awhile. The rear end will probly be up a little higher and the front a little lower but you gett the idea!! I'm debateing on painting it black or charcol grey (same color I did the apocolypse in) with a red strip around the rear. I desided to ditch the 440 for someting a little more moderen, a 6.1 L HEMI from a magnum! I also have to tub it a bit beacuse of the rear wheels. So here are the pics!! Thanks for lookin.
  16. Well thanks everyone for ansering my questions and thanks to nick for posting the pics, it was highly apprecited!
  17. Well I'm waiting for them to reiusue this kit. I'm wondering if anyone has built it and what is in the kit and how good it builds up? I can't wait because I want at least 3, I'm a BIG fan of gm s-series trucks!! BTW if someone has it can they post whats in the box? Thanks
  18. Yea I don't get it either. Whats going on?
  19. Ya I was thinking about adding one but I don't know, I might just add a little one, and for the tires, I know there on backwards but I almost broke it to peaces when I tried to take them off so I'm just going to leave them the way they are, but ya I might add a windsheild.
  20. Ok guys thats all the pics!!! Thanks for lookin
  21. Ok guys. Here is the apocolypse!! There is just soooooo much stuff that is custom on this build so I will just make a list of stuff. 88 long bed from a silverado a 302 from a 70 mustang, all recromed and redone custom scratch built chassis wheels from revells custom 1999 chevy silverado seats from a 69 shelby a dash that was in the amt super bee kit but did not go to the car a radiator from a 92 mustang a custom firewall made from styrene and bondoed in shaved the gas cover and tailgate handle a cowell from the 99 silverado kit striped the chrome off the rear bumper and painted it body colored add a custom steerin wheel from revells 56? f-100 kit scratch built the headers, exhast, radiatr hoses suspension from a 1971 cuda a gas tank from a 1964 chevy impala shaved the crack on the oil pan and transmission custom bed wall I painted it duplicolor charcol grey with a coat of future floor wax on it. Thanks for READING all that!! Now enjoy the pics!!
  22. Ok so I'm posting these pics to show you how much is done on this kit. What you see in the pictures is all. I have to make a vinal top it now because I was taken apart a caddy, my hands slipped and put a HUGE GASH right in the center of the roof with the caddie widows!!! So I've got to get some styrene and stuff to do that. The chassis, suspension, and engine block is NOT finished yet but has been painted with there base colors but no detailing done yet and I had to take the BMF off so that has to be redone too. Let me know if it's all right to join in, and trust me, I'm NOT a fast builder, Accually I am a perfectionist so it won't be done anytime soon. so here are the pics Let me know what happens
  23. Ok guys, It's saturday again, so post up some pics!! So here is what I got going on my bench. The apocolypse is finished, but thats the only picture you get till I post it up in the under glass section. I desided to work on the scout again, I'm remaking the floor and chassis, again because I wasn't happy with it the first time. So thats whats on my bench! Here is a caddie all disassembled and here is my bench and the scout Thanks for lookin!! And now lets see yours!!
  24. I think this is going to be a great build off!! Can I enter a 1970 super bee? All that's done is the body, chassis, engine and suspension painted but thats it. I've got to make a vinal top for it now because I put a BIG gash in the roof and I'm NOT striping the hemi orange or the black c-strips. Let me know!
  25. Ok here is whats on my bench, but it's in my photo booth, which is on my bench! I call it the Apocolypse!! Though it was fitting. This is not done yet but is not going to be posted again till the final update! ENJOY! Thanks for lookin.
