  1. Thanks for sharing Cameron. Just so happens I have one on the shelf . . .
  2. Welcome Dan. I empathize with you. I find building helps the mind . . . LOTS!
  3. Thank you for the welcome Carl. I appreciate the kindness. Jim
  4. Been here on and off for the better part of a year; just scoping things out. I love building and researching race cars, and now Dave Thibodeau (via his article in SAE a while back) has got me all excited to build some Trans Am stuff. In case you haven't seen the article, I suggest you try to find it. I thought the work he did on the RM Challenger was amazing; and the article contained names of suppliers I had never heard of before. So now I am collecting stuff to do the build, and I am looking forward to it. Promise I will post some pics (once I get going). I Be well all, Jim P.S. I am fortunate enough to be in Dade City FL. through most winters. Any suggestions on shops around the area?
  5. That hood looks like it could suck pedestrians right off the street! Awesome build!
  6. Wow, ya pulled off opening doors and trunk!!!! Nice, nice work. Hope the contest judges think so as well!
  7. Very nice work Curtis. I admit to having a thing for Ferraris. Is your choice of colors skill ful imagineering, or is it based on a real scheme?
  8. Have to agree with Kevin White on his reference to your ability "getting the multi-piece body straight." I have tried the kit a couple of times and put in the recycle bin a couple of times too. Good job.
  9. WOW! Sharp build Jonathan! Love the rear end on this car.,
  10. Very clean presentation Carl . . . nice photography too!
  11. No super detail set from SMS for this one guys, sorry. Matthew Wells says aspects of the kit just didn't meet his criteria for producing a set. Too bad . . . I know it would have been superb. The high note of this is that Matthew is working on a reference CD for the car! Yippee!!!!! Watch the SMS website for details.
