  1. Been thinking of picking this up myself for one of them " something else" builds. Any issues putting it together? Thanks, Chris
  2. I would like to see a tutorial on how to do this. Chris.
  3. I ordered 2 from Autoworld, they were delivered to me yesterday.
  4. I am looking to trade my non chrome Ford 427 and Cadillac 354 from the Atlantis issue of the Yellow Fever Coupe for the chrome Revell parts pack ones. So if you have some that you were planning on stripping the chrome from, sent me a message and we can work out a deal. Thanks, Chris
  5. Atlantis has the decals available on their site for $5.99 or the whole kit for $21.99. Just a FYI. Chris
  6. Thats very sharp! I like it alot.
  7. Yes, thank you for the reply. I bought both sets of them decals from Chris awhile back, along with several of his other sets. So far I have had good luck with his decals. The ones I have used work good and look great.
  8. I am looking to trade my brand-new mint white plastic tank steps from the AMT California Hauler Peterbilt 359, for a set of chrome ones from the AMT Peterbuilt wrecker. If you have the wrecker and are planning to strip the chrome, please contact me. Thanks, Chris.
  9. That is cool! The detail painting is fantastic. I really like this. Chris
  10. I have the stock hood from this kit that I won`t be using. Brand new, condition. Send me your address, and it`s yours. Chris.
  11. I have one moulded in orange. If you still need it, give me an address and it is yours. Chris.
  12. The Monogram 55 Chevy street machine was the 1st kit I ever bought. It started it all for me. I was 13 years old, got my 1st summer job. Took my 1st paycheck to Kmart and bought this kit, a tube of Testors glue, and a can of Testors sapphire blue paint. I also ended up taking home AMT`s Rat Packer Nova that day. That started this lifelong obsession. Nearly 50 years later, and thousands of models later, I still think about that day and smile. Chris
  13. Might be better to pm me your address or email address, these could be a very large files to post on here
  14. I was hoping to find a copy of the instructions for the Jolly Roger kit online, but no luck. I will scan and post the parts you might be able to use in the morning. The JR kit has the same kind of sails and about 15 pages of instructions on rigging the sails. I am sure there is something there you can use.
  15. Wonder if the rigging lines would be close to the Jolly Roger kit. It has some instructions on the rigging. I read somewhere that a guy should only work in 1/2 hr blocks, to keep from getting burnt out on the rigging. I also picked up the Jolly Roger kit, if you need some rigging ideas.
  16. OK, progress is good. May have to trim the rat lines on mine. It should be in the mail today.
  17. I just bought this kit today, it will be my first ship. What technic did you use to wood grain the decks?
  18. This is great! Good inspiration, been wondering what to do with one of the T bodies I have stashed. Also like the car club name on the rear. Chris
  19. Did anyone ever do a review on the Testors reefer trailer? It is a 1/28th scale kit. Wondering how far off it would be for the Revell Kenworth & Peterbilt snap kits. I did a search on here but came up empty. Thanks, Chris
