    Revell Germany London Bus
    Hello all,
I have completed my build up of the Revell of Germany London Bus. This is definitely a time consuming kit and not for the faint of heart. All-in-all it was a fun build bit it took me 6 1/2 months to complete and I am glad it is over. The whole thing is painted with acrylic paint. The body is cleared with Krylon Gloss clear. I detailed the engine with some parts from Pro-tech. I also made my own umbrellas, breifcase, sling shot, and magazines for the interior. I hope you enjoy.

Thanks everyone! To answer a couple of questions: Yes there is a driver and co-driver in the car that the kit came with. I'll have to get a pic of them. Also, The dust cloud was achieved buy using Poly-fill, which is the stuffing you can buy at the craft store for pillows and stuffed animals. I colored it with my airbrush.

Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC 2002 - Dio
Here is on of my latest builds, Its the Tamiya Subaru WRC 2002. I built it and the diorama base for it. The kit came with two figures for the inside, but they are hard to see with the weathering I applied to the kit. Thanks for looking!

The Paint is Auto Air Pearlized Blue sprayed though an airbrush. The pictures make it look a little different. It actually laid down pretty smooth.

    Mini Cooper MK1
This Revell Mini Cooper was a glue bomb kit I found at a local antique store. The wheels, front seats, windshield wipers are all from the parts box. The headlight glass was missing so I used some clear plastic to make new ones.

    70 Super Bee Pro Street
Here is my AMT 70 Super Bee Pro Street. The kit is pretty much box stock except for a large selection of Pro Tech detail parts used to dress up the engine and interior. I just noticed I didn't have the hood sitting straight for the pictures. Oops!!

    Post apocalypse Caddy Ambulance
Sorry for the repost.... I'm not sure what happened, but I posted this about a week ago and it seams like it got deleted somehow.

This is my Post Apocalypse 59 Cadillac Ambulance. I did it as more of a support vehicle. I used the AMT Ghostbusters kit. The weathering is done with the salting method and various washes and powders. I used balsa wood for the front guard and the roof rack. The gun is from a dollar store toy.

    Thanks for looking.

    48 Ford Woody "Beach Bum"
Here is my latest completed model. Its the Monogram 48 Ford Woody. All-in-all it's a really great kit. I'm really into building rusty weathered model right now, so that's the direction I went.

I hand painted all the wood except for the darker inserts on the exterior of the body. They are decals that I darkened up and made look a little more weathered. The body is painted with acrylics and the rust and weathering is all done with AMMO of Mig Jimenez paints and washes. The distributor on the ford Flathead is unique so I retro fitted the kit one to house the distributor wires and boots from Pro Tech. The photo etched radiator fan, aluminum air cleaner, fuel line and fittings and photo etched license plate frame are also from Pro Tech. The pulleys, shift linkage and radiator cap are watch parts

I scratch built the roof rack and hand made the surfboard from balsa wood. On the interior of the model I flocked the carpet, made the seats look like they have been repaired with duck tape, resin cast coke bottles for the front seat, printed and folded the coke bottle holder, printed a calendar and trading cards for the front seat, put a oil can in the back seat, gas can and bucket of tools in the cargo area and scratch built a suitcase out of styrene for the back also.

I think thats it. Thanks for looking and I hope you all like it.
