  1. Tim... The Level of Detail is so unreal on this build. You have set the bar so high for the Drag Racing standard and accomplished more in 3 years Than I could with the Funny Car. I am truly blown away by your Talents. This thing is incredible and I absolutely love this build. . Your in the Home stretch and the sense of accomplishment has to be a Joy for you. It sure makes you feel good getting to this point doesn't it. You should be very Proud my friend. I am super happy for you. I am looking forward to your next update already. Cheers!

  7. Tim.... Wow...ummm I can't exactly say what came out of my mouth when I saw the first pic because I would get a warning for my language from the mods...lol. This is the moment where you can see all of the hard work come together on this Jewel. I am so impressed. That engine and all the details in the drivers area is just Gorgeous. I am speechless. Truly Amazing my friend. Cheers!

  9. Beautiful build John... these are some gorgeous pics. I absolutely love this build. It was awesome to see it in person this past weekend. Well deserved on all the awards you won with it.
  10. Tim.... Incredible.... Flat out Gorgeous work. That belt set up is so nice. This build continues to get better and better with each update. I am still so amazed at your plating skills. I have been struggling trying to use mine and can't wait to see a seminar at GSL about it. Hopefully then I will be able to get some better results.
  11. John.... Thanks Brother!! It's Slowly getting there but glad to have gotten some initial stuff done. I just need to get back to it to finish the design work on it. Raymund... thank you. I Have been keeping an eye on a couple of printers and am getting closer to actually pulling the trigger on one and purchasing a small printer so I can attemot to print my own parts. Thanks for the info on the dental scrapers. Is there a certain place you pick yours up at? Tim... Thank you my friend. I wish I could get the design work done already so I could have some more surprises for ya. I know that I am moving along slot slower than I would like on this one but hopefully soon I will have some more stuff done on this one. Tom... Thank you. This one has been fun so far with the drawings. I am just anxious to get started on the chassis. 8 thinknit should be able to move pretty good after that. Charlie.... thank you, I am looking forward to putting more of your Braided line to use in this build. Brad... thanks my friend. You are right some of the 3D design work takes a lot longer than people realize. But what is nice is when it's drawn up then I can insert the parts into assemblies and have a nice library of parts. Dave... thanks... yeah it's totally fun to be able to draw up the parts especially when you are trying to go for for a replica and there are no parts available for it. Manfred... thank you very much. I hope I can do this build justice considering it was a dragster my dad worked on. Has a special meaning to me for sure. Dave... Thank you very much. You know I never gave much thought into having a Hemi in the car and one on a stand next to it. That may just be a great thing to do. Thanks for that idea
  12. Mark.... This Dragster turned out Killer. Looks great next to the Funny Car. I can't wait to see it in person. Job Well Done!!
  13. Simon... I Will be there l, ooking forward to catching up with ya.

  15. Incredible update Tim.... that plaing is out of this world my friend. It looks great. I have been struggling with using mine and my results are nothing compared to yours. Cant wait to see the seat installed along with the Belts. Cheers!
  16. Clay.... I really don't think it is you. I am definitely the long pole in the tent. You have way more done than I do, so I am actually the weak link here. Your chassis and body are both painted where as mine arent even close. But hopefully soon. I need to get the rear end set up done.
  17. John.... that is another Epic update. Man it's moving along very well. I can't wait until you get to the paint phase.
  18. John... outstanding update Brother!! The craftmanship is just awesome! Looking forward to what you suprise us next on this build. Keep up the awesome work.
  19. Tim... this is a HUGE Milestone my friend. You have to be ecstatic about it. I know all too well what this point means and the feeling from it, to see all of your hard work starting to pay off and now getting to see it come together, I know it has to make you smile. This is truly some of the most outstanding work around. I am super happy for you to reach this point. Continue doing what you have been doing because it's Beautiful. Looking forward to your next update. Cheers!
  20. Thanks Brother!! I now need to get more work done on it.
  21. I then decided to add decals to the Valve covers and it is begging for some weathering on the engine to tone it all down: I also glued the Bell Housing to the Block:
  22. Then I moved onto the seat to remove the molding in seat belts. I still have to fix and sand the rest of the scratches out of it: It was then time to glue in the distributor and start wiring the engine up. I used a combination of Pro-Tech and MAD aftermarket distributors which I got from Art Laski over at scaleproshop.com:
  23. Well Fellas.... I decided it was time to knock some dusts off this build and do some work on it. I would like to finish this little dragster up so I can get the motivation to get back to my FED and a few other projects. Here is some work that I have been able to accomplish on it over the past few week. I had decided to scale down one of the blowers and injector hats to see how it would print in 1/25th scale since I wasn't very fond of the kit one: Here is what the quality of it looked like after I got some primer on it. It has a little sanding that needs to be done and will look like new: I didn't care for the kits steering shaft and chassis mount so I figured I would make something of some brass to Jazz it up: Next I got the Valve Covers Glued on:
  24. Wow John!... you just are crushing this build. That front end work is awesome and the attention to the details in the chassis. Very Impressive. I cant wait to see what you blow us away with next on this.
