  1. boys & girls, I know this is a long ways down the road, but I'm looking for one more piece of information about the Revell Chevy Street Pickup, as well as the combo kits, Blazers, etc. can someone tell me what model year(s) those kit represented. one of 'em was marked as a '76, I think. would that be right for the whole lot? lemme know....... thanx, robbshelby
  2. ie: lindberg '34 roadster/pickup rat rod, this kit dates from the very late '50s/early '60s &, by today's standards, is seriously inaccurate & toy-like. however, it is it is a period model of a period kit. therein lies it's value. the addition of the pe stuff is the only attempt to update it since the 1st issue. same with their channeled 32 pickup & their hot rod T bucket & 32 roadster. decals & box art help define the era of the issue, but the plastic hasn't changed. robbshelby
  3. coolcar, you've probably gotten this information already, but here goes - the Western North Carolina Model Car Club was alive & well the last time I was in asheville - jun 2008. they were meeting in a hobby shop (that I've forgotten the name of........) on the last thursday of the month. a fellow by the name of kelly coonts (sorry if I really botched your name kelly) invited me by email, after I asked the same question on another board. I was in town on other biz, so I took a couple of my build-ups with me. nice guys _ hope you can connect. robbshelby
