  1. "GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!" That is one SWEEEEET lookin' Merc you built! Love those flames too.

What a great job you did on that mid-60's Mopar. Great paint and detail also!
  3. What are your questions as I'm usually there every year?
  4. Most of my paints are metallics or flakes so I don't polish out the color coats but only the clear which I spray about a day after the color goes on. I usually let the clear coats "gas out" for a couple of weeks or so before polishing.
  5. Awesome build on that Merc. I need to get one of those AMT Mercs myself, but then I'll need to build it also. Life is tough.
  6. I'll be lookin' to use the engine from the '50 Olds kits for a couple of rods.
  7. Nice build on that '68 Charger and I like that two-tone paint also.
  8. #1 None of us will live long enough to build everything in our stash? That is the sad truth my friends.
  9. I wear clothes when building my models and when I'm working on a high-end car such as a Cadillac or Lincoln, I'll wear a suit and tie along with dress shoes and jewelry like cuff links, tie tack, and pinkie ring.
  10. I've got a set of Pro-Track "Star" Drag Front wheels and they look awesome, as I ordered two more pairs.
  11. If you go to: www.publicfotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/instruction_sheetsh/instruction_sheets/ and look up Jo-Han's Sox & Martin "Cuda they use a dual distributor 16 plug Hemi engine in that Pro-Stock.
  12. That "Pepper Shaker" is a nice kit and a good friend of mine is looking for one. I'm keeping my eyes open trying to find him one. I know: good luck!
  13. Does anyone know of any release dates of some of the new Revell kits that are coming out this year as well as the dates for some of the re-pops? Thanks!
  14. It's worth $100 - $150? It's ONLY worth what someone would pay for it, nothing more.
  15. I don't think so, but you could always e-mail him and ask.
  16. Take your Vicodin with beer and you WILL feel good!
  17. Two Ton Baker did the "laugh your trobles away at Riverview" ads.
  18. Crazyjim, I think George ment Riverview Park on the southside that was part of the Chicago Park district and not Riverview the amusement park which was on the northside by Belmont & Western Aves.
  19. Nice job on that "Widow."
  20. I was always a "north sider" but in my later years I did work with a lot of south siders in my trade. I had cousins that lived on north Honore St.
  21. As a former "Chicago native" I've been there several times and used to hang out on Rush street also. Those were the good old days as it was great living in the city back in the 50's & 60's.
