  1. Looks good Daniel, is the pintle hook available thru plaskit ?
  2. Robert, I kit-bashed the front axle and the front springs and I think they came from the AMT General. The frame I used was from AMT's T-600 so nothing from that front end was even remotely correct. The Revell front axle is way to skimpy to try and make steerable.
  3. The wrecker body looks right at home behind the cabover, great job.
  4. the v12 is from AITM but I got mine when Dave first took over, and it is from the old molds and it needed a lot of work, someone posted one from his cleaned up molds a while back and it looks great. The engine fits good under the hood, even with the air compressor mounted on the back aux drive. I used some parts from a 8v kit to get the look I wanted, and had to scratch the engine mounts. If your looking for 100% realism the exaust manifolds are wrong for a 12v truck engine, but for me I am not that picky.
  5. Thanks guys, Jim it is a revell cab and hood setting on a amt frame, I wanted the truck to have spring suspension instead of air.
  6. I know I don't get to post much anymore, but now that I drive these things I don't get to build the little ones so much. But in the last year I did get to finish one truck. it is going to have a double trailer at some point ( when there is enough shelf to hold it)
  7. looking good Chuck, When I paint black I now use flat black and clear with either gloss or satin, the humidity doesn't bother so much this way.
  8. Awesome job on a great subject. I will have to get me one of these, I have been gathering parts to build a stock torino out of the johan stock car kit. this would go with it great.
  9. This is how mine ended up Mike, there is no end to the possibilities
  10. looks very nice Niko, do you have a trailer planned?
  11. great job on the engine Ben, is the compressor the kit part?
  12. I have a few trucks for these colors, Arizona beige Paystar wrecker' two white Mack R-600's a white Pete 359 and a off white and tan 4300
  13. Somehow I missed this post,Here is my version of this truck. this is a fun truck to build, the only problem that I found with it is the front axle is to far back.
