wow looks great man i love the paint job its beautiful, i never seen one done before in panter pink but great job
  6. well oven cleaner works rather well just got to let it soak overnight and you might have to do it 4-5 times but it gets it off rather easy. i used it to strip an old 71 cuda kit this weekend and its almost ready to sand for primer.
  7. thanks for the comment, i used the wire because the kit wire didnt fit well for me and i didnt have any black tubing so in the future if i get some tubing ill switch it out but thanks for the comment
  8. i dont see why not i use to do that, and i found a way to strip waterbased airbrush paint off, my duster had rustoleum clear on it so i sanded it with 220 till the clear was basiclly off then soaked the model in water over night then the paint got loose and you could just scrape it off with your finger nail then i sanded down the whole body with 600 and now its readdy for primer also you can use a toothbrush for hard to get places.
  9. hi i have a 71 duster im working on and i sprayed it with waterbased paints then cleared it with rustoleum clear but when i wetsanded it took chunks of paint off on the roof so i sanded alot of the roof back down to the primerr and the plastic but is there an easier way. i know you can use oven cleaner and brakefluid but what would be the easiest and safest for the body? any help would be great.
  10. thanks man, your road runner looks sick with the drags and wheelie bar really cool build.

  14. heres my 68 dodge dart hemi. this is from the new revell kit which is a must have for any mopar freak like myself.i painted mine pearl tangerine then cleared with rustoleum then i polished and waxed it to get the shine. i painted the hood flat black to give it a race look. i made my own distributor, flocked the interior, put a nitrous oxide tank in and wired it, and used the kits roll bar. so tell me what ya think, if you have any questions feel free to ask.
