  1. Glad to see the magazine is still around, it’s sad that all the car related magazines I grew up with are gone now, it’s ok for youngsters brought up in the digital age but I was always a fan of holding it in my hands
  2. You will probably find it hard to get really good engine shots of the le mans cars but an alternative is to google "mad mike quad rotor rx7" and there is a heap of photos of the engine bay that will help you with how quad rotors are wired up
  3. very nice build, just for your info the R35 is simply known as GTR,they dropped the "skyline" tag for this car.
  4. This is turning out great,I did some work at a house during the week and the owner had one of these in the shed,he had just shipped it over from new zealand to aussie, spent 14months on a full restoration and had it detailed spotlessly so it wouldn't have problems clearing customs,he picked it up and there was mud all up the side of the car and in the wheel wells and 130 odd klms on the odometer, some cheeky BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH had taken it for a spin after offloading it from the ship.
  5. Thanks, have found the same camera brand new in another local shop for $70
  6. Thanks for the advice guys, don't have a cell phone worthy of taking pics so ill stick to getting that camera or similar.
  7. After a lengthy break I'm back into building models again and hope to actualy complete one, question is...I'm in the market for a camera to take pics of completed models, would something like this take half decent photo's? http://www.joycemayne.com.au/fujifilm-finepix-jx550-16mp-digital-camera-black.html Can't afford a flash expensive one just yet but don't want to end up buying something that you can't see any detail in either.
  8. your work on imports is amazing as it is always, nicely done..
  9. Tamiya make both supra and GTR skyline kits containing engines,or the parts box has supra engines but not as detailed as the tamiya offering. http://www.thepartsbox.com/
  10. Nice build, the liitle wings/splitters in front of the wheels are called "canards"
  11. The 6 rotor out on the circuit for initial testing.
  12. Yeh no chance of being legal here but in NZ it can be,would most likely be muffled up quite abit, car is built purely for the street and will hit the 1/4 but won't be set up for strip only,I really think the engine would excel in a circuit car or dedicated drag car.
  13. Sounds unbelievable in person, you need earplugs at idle, imagine this at 9000rpm under load
  14. This is a street registered rx4 6 rotor periheral ported,basicly 3 x 13b engines joined together,813 was at 9000rpm
  15. not sure if anyone remembers the 6 rotor from awhile ago,it's now running and has had it's first initial dyno tune.Result is 813HP@wheels on pump gas
