MCW has on their website a section called "Downloads and order form", in the page you will find detailed info on using MCW products.
I saw that , but its ambiguous title lead me away (haha).
Thanks again.

He's pretty good about answering phone calls. I've talked with him a few times.
That is good to know, thank you. I just have an aversion to making 'business' calls (haha). But, I'll enquire to him sooner rather 'an later.

John, I would direct these questions to MCW. Their site seems to be almost completely lacking in product use information. I have never purchased from them, but are their paints supposed to be ready to spray or ??
Other 'an a phone number ( OMG, that is sooooooo 20th Century ! ) there's no other contact info - and their FAQ 'page' is empty (?!?).
IIRC, their lacquers are ready-to-shoot, but not their enamels.

I bought their enamel reducer , directly from MCW's site.
Silly question : Do I need to purchase their hardener as well ? Or will the reducer 'cover' the catalysation as well ?
Thanks again .

Gary Usher, the writer of 409 by the Beach Boys never owned a 409, but DID own a new 426 Plymouth Hemi Superstock, which he conceded was much faster than a 409 anyway.
Gary Usher (1938-1990) was also an excellent record producer.

Ya know Mike, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Round 2 comes out with an older 2 wheel drive square body based on their current kits in the next year or two.
Maybe even a long fleetside, who knows.
I'd love to see both long bed and short bed Wideside as well as Fenderside iterations , in 2WD .
From there, the resin artists could offer C/K 20 and 30 conversions .

I happened into Pegasus hobby store this past Saturday , and I picked up a bottle of MCW's Curious Yellow enamel ( 5.00 $ ! Quite reasonable ).
Now, I have one of those Prevail sprayers which I'm going to employ ( I don't have the facilities to use an airbrush - noisy compressors and such in an apartment setting = no go ). My question is, Which reducer / thinner ( or both, if necessary ) is best for these enamels ?
I had my eyes set on Mr. Color Leveling Thinner -- is that a good product for this instance ?
I love Mr. Hobby and Tamiya, as both are just the best I've used over the years.Any input and recommendations (and ad hominem attacks ) is are am welcomed.

My 2004 doesn't have the hour meter (I've forgotten its proper nomenclature), as its instruments are 100% analogue (including the odometer).
For all that I know, it could have 100,000 idle hours ! Original engine (has a sticker on the left-bank of the block which reads POL 47) and uses zero oil.

That 1/18 looks pretty nice ! I recognise wheel covers - is it a 1998-2001 model (amber turn signals as well) ? Speaking of which ; I'm going to convert mine to the amber-signals tail lamp assemblies. Why ? I can't stand red turn signal/hazards ! They're not only annoying, but are also technically improper / incorrect.

I like the CV.I have an 09 ex Fed P71.Gotta be one of the funnest cars I’ve ever owned.
That P71 belongs to yours truly. It's a 2004 ; a former Inglewood P.D. unit ( number 428 ).
There are only two things about it that I wish it had :
1.) Rubber mats (has carpeting - and is coded as such )
2.) Cruise control- 1

While I haven't much to offer in respect to your enquiries, I can tell you that this kit has its origins in late 1983 ( ! ) as the then-new (and groundbreaking) 1984 model. That chassis is almost dead-bollocks to the 1983 original.
Bottom line ? Perhaps the chassis is de facto "warped" due to the ad infinitum running of the ad sequitur annual kits ?
Best to you and regards.

Style Council was a New Wave [ et alia ] band which was borne out of The Jam by Paul Weller, whose version of Harvest for the World [ Isley Brothers ] is quite lovely
-
Speaking only of the body style : the Supernatural version is a four door hardtop ( Sports Sedan in Chevrolet nomenclature ) , whereas the police/taxi (9C1 , etc.) models were four door sedans (framed door glass and "complete" B-pillar).

Another gem from the Notorious sessions of mid-late 1967. This is Mc Guinn fooling around with the then-new Moog synthesiser - a 9,000$ instrument ! The Moog was used extensively on Notorious (and to a lesser extent on other Byrds albums) - one of the first "Pop" (Rock) albums to feature the instrument ( The Monkees Pieces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones, Ltd. was released in November 1967, beating the Byrds album by a couple of months ).
Without further ado :
-
An "incomplete" recording ; a studio instrumental from Summer or Autumn 1967. Chris Hillman took the song to Manassas who recorded a slower-tempo, vocals-included version for their 1972 self-titled album.
I'm keen on this up-tempo take - too bad that it never received a vocal treatment.
