  1. Basically , any-thing from the original , 1972 release (disc 1 on the compact disc release) of Nuggets .
  2. Tell me who sends these
    Infamous gifts.
    To make such a promise
    And make such a slip.
    Oh no
    Can't pull a trick
    Never the rose
    Without the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH

  3. It was a valiant effort , but there were no winners in that duel . Even David Mann had to find his way out of the Santa Clarity Valley at sundown (and make a toll call from the 805 area code [relatively-new at that time area code] after walking for untold miles) .
  4. Excellent ! Reminds me of the kind of things that I saw when I was visiting family in NYC in 1989 (during its early stages of "clean up" ... for better or worse) . Super job on the Graf ; very aunthentic , down to the "buffed-and-recapped" backdrop .
  5. Excellent work ! I am most impressed with your Valiant (VL41C1E) conversion . Any plans to have it cast in resin (please) ??
  6. Beautiful , stunning "What If?" build , Paul ! Like every-one else , I am impressed with that paint and the technique you've employed ! WOW ! Keep up the great work , man !
  7. Thanks for the link ! That's what I am looking for : a street version . Le Car was a different animal here in the U.S. : an emasculated R5 (yes , I am aware that the opposite is the case). Good to know !
  8. Yes , it's a fairly easy addition / fix . Just frustrating is all ! For what-ever reason(s) , the 340 in the Duster is missing a breather . 15+ years ago , I wouldn't have cared , but now with arthritis and not-as-good-as-it-was vision , these details are more challenging than they used to be
  9. Thanks for sharing , Tim ! Those '73-'74 Road Runners look so nice in X9 Black with the red stripe . (As a side note ; about 22 years ago I saw a '74 in the local salvage yard : "P" code 400 four barrel , 4-speed , 3.55 geared 9.25" rear . It was black with red stripe and white interior .) You're spot on with the E58 360 ! Torque where it's needed . Longer- stroke than the coveted 383 and 400 ! Love those Michigan '76 plates !
  10. Easily the nicest Mark IV / Turbo-400 combo in existance ! Nit picks ? Only 2 : 1.) The aforementioned split-cast trans oil pan 2.) No PCV valve / grommet !
  11. Did any-one make a street-stock R5 Turbo ? Yeah , there's that Heller kit , but it's in tiny 1/44 scale (or some-thing like that) .
  12. That version's only redeeming values were its "N97" ( Noise Reduction Package) exhaust (i.e. , the sans-tips arrangement) and its "Ramcharger" hood . That psuedo-Hemi (truly , it was just the 440 with Hemi heads ! Even its exhaust manifolds were incorrect ; they were the 1967-1972 High-Perf 440 manifolds ! ) . That's just my opionon , however .
  13. Issues with the tooling . Apparently , Round2 was going to do with the 1971 Demon what AMT (et al.) did with the 1970 Super Bee in the 90's :: "bash" it with newer tooling ; to wit : MPC 1971 Demon 340 body (etc.) with the c.1998-issue AMT 1971 Duster 340 (chassis , engine , etc.) . I'm willing to bet that , since the MPC A-body series (1971-1975 Duster , 1971 Demon , 1975-1976 Dart Sport) tooling is every bit of 40 years old , that it's too fatigued to rework . Remember that Round2 was going to take the 1975-1976 Dart Sport tool (which has been reissued and reworked a few times since its retirement as an "annual" at the end of 1976) and backdate its body to 1971 cosmetics (no small feat !) . Perhaps Revell , Moebius , et al. , could do it better vis-a-vis all-new tooling ... (and , no , I'm not knocking Round2 by stating that)
  14. 1971-1972 Charger shared the same quarter window and "upkick" design ; 1973-1974 shared that quarter window / c-pillar with the 1971-1974 Satellite , Road Runner , et al. To convert the AMT '71 Charger to a 1972 would be a decent undertaking : door skins , hood (the louvered one in the kit is a '71-only offering , although the bulge is the same) , interior (different upholstery pattern) , would be the most difficult . No outward changes to the 440 ; just paint it in its proper colours ( "1972 Blue" with an orange air cleaner ) . Keep checking eBay , et al. , for the MPC annual . I got a built-up for a song !
  15. Weren't there serious talks about the Cutlass making a comeback ?
  16. It would appear that Dave , et al. , have really knocked one out of the 'park ! WOW !!! The fact that Moebius not only reworked the tooling to the Nth degree , but they also added the seating option ! Not to minimise those decadent 8 lug K-H wheels -- as they'll receive receive their fair share of kudos -- but the overall effort in making sure that this much needed subject is dialled-in --rolling stock included-- shows how dedicated Dave and the team are to producing quality products . Those tyres are perfect ! Most beautiful tyres I've seen in a while , easily . Thanks for the great review , Tim !
  17. Dad's first car was a1949 Ford coupe , flathead w/ column-shift 3-speed and overdrive . Had it from 1954-1962 , when he sold it and bought a new '62 Comet . Mom's first car was a brand new 1957 Ford Skyliner . She sold it in '60 and moved back home to Pennsylvania (after a 3 years stint in Miami) . In 1963 she bought a new Chevy II 2 door pillard coupe whose only options were a radio (AM only that year) , heater / defogger , and a 4-speed (with the base 4 cylinder !) .
  18. That LA-Series engine certainly appears to be nicer than the stock 318--340-360 that the vans , Duster / Demon / Dart Sport , etc. , engines ! I realise that it's representative of the 355 cube Direct Connection "R" small block , but at least the base block & heads look nice . Not sure what diff / housing that is supposed to represent ... Not a Dana nor is it the Chrysler 8 3/4 . any ideas ? I'll most likely grab one of these kits for its parts contents !
  19. I , too , am awaiting the arrival of the NicKey Camaro ! I've always really , really liked the Cherokee , too ! That plexiglass hood bubble is so cool !
  20. The finest item on the original , 1988-issue was its moulded-onto the windscreen interior rear view mirror ! I built a couple of them back in 1988 , and I honestly don't recall any fitment issues with it . I'm not saying that to come across as contentious to the others' comments / input , but rather out of personal experiences . That kit was a quantum leap in kit development at the time . Separate interior panels , drivetrain installation points , and that extra short block / long block were so ahead of the curve at the time ! Actually , the kit's release was pushed-back an entire year ; it was supposed to be released in 1987 ... ...which was a remarkable year in the realm of modelling .
  21. Super nice Demon 340 ! The two preeminent yellow colours offered by Dodge in 1971 were : FY1 Top Banana (Plymouth called the same colour "Lemon Twist") GY3 Citron Yella (Plymouth called the same colour "Curious Yellow")
  22. ...And then there's this gem , too : http://www.ebay.com/itm/jo-han-fast-eddie-schartman-maverick-pro-stock-/121780561793?hash=item1c5aafe781
