i was really bored today, so I decided to look through my parts box. I saw some rims and tires in there, i decided to use them in a trailer i have been wanting to build for some time. I found a pencil box laying around and it was the perfect size. I am planning to use some good material and some better planning later on and build one that is a little better. I am planning some sort of tire rack in the front, with some folding ramps.
Something like this.
great idea for a trailer, please post finished photos

That's pretty cool! Scratchbuilt?
the fins and front hull support are ,the trailer was a racing boat trailer

It has been a rather long time since I went on a spending spree buying kits, paints and other supplies.
My wife has supported by purchases completely. We discuss all expenditures before they are made.
We have been doing that for the 38 years we have been married.
My wife agrees with and actually enjoys my hobby, though not to the extent I do.
She helps with picking colors and making other suggestions, some of which I follow.
I was just wondering, how many of you guys have a wife/girlfriend that supports your hobby?
i would ask my wife ,but that means i would have to speak to her and her voice is a cross between Peg Bundy ,and ,Rosanne Barr and she yells everytime i try to converse with her ,besides shes mad at me right now ,because she said "I DONT FEEL GOOD" so i said ' I KNOW ,THATS WHY I DONT TOUCH YOU.and she hasn't spoke to me since

Finished at last!
I didn't like this kit when I started it about 8 weeks ago. There were a lot of things to put right. Some terrible mould lines and deformed parts. This was also my 1st go at using decals. They were a lot trickier than I'd imagined. By the end of it though, I had grown to like it and when the chrome went on, it transformed it. I used an MCG photoetch grille set, but decided not to use all the badges and emblems...I reckoned the body looked busy enough without them.
Paint and clear was Halfords spray-can and a ton of elbow-grease.

Hey there guys, some of you may know that I am building a snowplow and I found a board that would be perfect for a single vehicle diorama. I'm wanting to replicate it plowing a parking lot or sitting there in the snow with the plow up. I need to know how to replicate snow. Any ideas?
if you have a Micheals crafts near you ,they have products in a line called ( scene o rama)bases ,ice effects ,snow ,different grasses ect, they are meant for school diorama products and are not as costly as going to your local train shop .check them out at SCENEORAMA.COM .they are really cool .thay have video tutorials and so forth ,hope this helps..

Those aren’t trucks. They’re cars with longer chassis.
