This's a probably an out of this world question, but is there anyone who makes a conversion kit to turn the AMT '70 Monte Carlo into a '72? My second car was my Mom's '72 Phantom Green Monte and I'd like to replicate it as close as I can without just painting the '70 that color and calling it done.

I'm looking for these parts for the Revell Firebird Roberts '57 Ford. I had an incident where they went flying and my hobby room floor ate them. They're nowhere to be found. Would someone be able to help me out so I don't have to buy another whole kit? I greatly appreciate everybody looking.

Which kits have an optional automatic transmission for a Dodge big block? I only have one and it's currently being used. I'm not so sure I want to use the obligatory 4sp with this new project since it's a drag car.

Hey Tim, Where abouts did you find some of your Cold material? I have a resin Cilt body and I need a direction to go. I thought about utilizeing the chassis from a 'Fire Fighter' pro stock mustang.

I'm dighin' the burnt orange/root beer color scheme.

Now I have an excuse to drag my ultrasonic cleaner out of the closet. I have a ton of things that need the possible chance of being stripped quicker than the normal hurry up and wait session.

Has anyone used any parts from this company and if so are they good castings and a good company to work with. Thanks in advance.

Ok, I will have to withdraw then because I am not able to multitask when it comes to model projects and the one I'm working on now has to be done by the second week of April. I'll just have to watch and see if you hold another one like this.

I have a closet FULL of projects like this. Some well over 10 years old or better. I'm in on this just so I can get 'closer' on some of these dead projects. I first have to finish my entry for our local clubs show the 2nd week in April. I haven't entered anything in well over 3 years, I'd really like to finish this one. I am building one of the newer Ford gasser kits to build a replica of a drag car a friend raced in his wilder years. I myself am not up to speed on Fords themselves, so I am in search of info to help me out some. The setup he ran way back when was a Paxton supercharged Y block. At this point I just want to know if the engine in the kit is a Y block or where to be able to get one. Also, I'm in search of a set of 1969 Boss Mustang. Can someone please help with info to help me out? It would be greatly appreciate it.

Hey Rick, I was in your shoes in High School. My first car was a 1974 Ventura/GTO, 350cid, 3spd on the floor, bench seat, trunk car. I wish I still had it. I bought the full '72 Ventura body kit and a Nova donor kit so I could build my 1:1, too. I just don't have the confidence in myself to do all of the scratch building to convert it over to a '74. I would be happy to work WITH you and maybe we could figure it out together. Who knows, maybe we could build ourselves a couple of contest winners out of this pickle.

I'm looking for some help. I am working on a project that I would like to put air bags on and am not sure what to get as far as supplies and or how to put them together. If anyone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, a 1/12th scale Revell bike are what I want to modify. I will look into ModelMartin to see what he has availible.

I wouldn't consider them to be that wide. Mine's buried in the closet right now, but if I would have to guess I might say 30mm? they're fairly narrow. That's why I'm looking for a wider aftermarket style wheel and tire set if they exist. I want to do a custom build with one of those bike kits.

`Where is a good place to look for resin motorcycle parts? I'm looking for something like a 300 series rear tire and wheel set so I can build a custom bike.

Thanks for the replies guys. I just don't have that much of confidence in my scratch building skills. If it's so easy to scratch build, why doesn't someone make a resin body? I think they would break the bank & not be able to keep up with sales. They would have to have a ton of back stock before announcing they had them in my opinion.

I'm looking for a company that might make an early '20's Dodge sedan body. Does anyone make such a thing?
