  1. Thanks Jacobus!! My ideas come from TV Shows and just keeping an eye out for inspiration!!!
  2. Hey Gordon!!This is just a "Test" to see if I could do it, Now I know I can...But,I plan on a second truck to be made as a "Buck" to cast, If...I can find a resin caster to do the cab and interior and engine only... I don't know anything about resin casting!!! I would be glad to share but right now it's wait and see,And I know that sux!!! And you also know theres a very limited market for something like this...Alot of things factor into the feasibility of this being done,Especially the affordability or cost to the consumer and be able to make some kind of profit at the same time...If you aren't making any money...Then theres no reason to produce it...All I can say right now is...Only time will tell...Thanks Roy
  3. Mostly EVERGREEN sheets and shaped stock and a few trips to the partsbox!!! Thanks Gordon for the kind words!!!
  4. Hey Bob!! It's not Guts...I'm a glutton for punishment!!! LOL !!! Believe it or not,Thissun' has been a breeze so far!!! I'm real close on the engine being done...If I'm lucky I will post some pics tomorrow!! Thanks for the encouraging words Bob!!!
  5. All the 1/16 Monogram trucks have 3408 CAT'S ...I just wanted a Cummins NTCC400BC!!! Just to be different...
  6. I have a quick "turn around" time!!! LOL !!! Nah, I forgot to post it on here when I got it...The pics are dated as with all my builds...Thanks !!
  7. I dumped Photobucket-O-Dung due to too many difficuilties on uploading and sharing pics....I am working on setting up with another photosharing site.....So I will post some pics A.S.A.P.!!!! Thanks for your patience!!!
  8. Hey Everyone!! The Dodge is finished as far as I intend to go with it...Heres the finished pics... It is dwarfed by the 1/16 scale KW I'm building!!
  9. Hey everyone!!This is a started project Dodge CNT 900 I got from Mitchell Munden / Roadwarrior last year...I shortened it and added a 5th wheel and deckplate so far... Thanks Mitch!! Thanks for looking!! More pics coming!!!
  10. I looked at Bob Downies Gremlin....I can't wait to get at least 6 of them!!!!! No disapointments with it, To Me!!!!!
  11. Use AMT 10.00x20'S, They are a good common kit tire. I use them on the Snap-tites I have...Dave is right...The snap-tite kit tires are terrible!!!
  12. I know what you mean Vince,But I have been building and scratchbuilding for over 30 years....And I wouldn't take a Lonestar if it was free!! I'm not Joking!!!
  13. Hey Gary!! I've heard alot of bad things about the Lonestar too!! You hit on some of the things I heard about and saw for myself!! The instructions...Are a "Joke" at best and the fit and finish.....It's a "P-O-S" that looks like an oversized "PT Cruizer". And a buddy of mine had so much trouble building the engine that he Litterally glued the hood shut!!!! My opinion is they should stop production on this "Nightmare" and fly it across a few more drawing boards before pushing that "Garbage" on truck builders again!!! Maybe the Prostar will be better!!! Only time will tell!!! Other than wasting your hard earned money, You did the right thing by tossing it!!! Moeibus should be ashamed for not trying to help you because of their SHODDY products and poor workmanship!!!! I won't buy any of their products and if enough builders "voice" their displeasure...Maybe they will rethink their services...
  14. Looking good Chris!! Contact Paul Sagehorn...He helped me with alot colors and parts placements...Seeing how He and his Dad,Craig did a complete restoration on the real truck and trailer!!! sagehornp@hotmail.com is his personal email. I know he can help for sure!!! good luck with your build!!! Roy
