  1. Mangodart, Mud flaps mount to rear edge of a fender and prevent mud and road debris from kicking up. TV screen optional.
  2. Jeff B

    Audi quattro

Both look really good! Has anyone ever tried mating the front and rear fenders of this kit to a Fujimi or Revell Golf/GTI to make the legendary Golf Rallye?
  3. WTB! (Want to build) Beautiful job!
  4. I've been working on one with the same vibe, yours looks fantastic. I'll look into those wheels.
  5. Great looking Monaco! I started a similar project and want to include small mud flaps and a vinyl roof. Seeing your finished project is great motivation!
  6. I see various releases of the AMT '64 Galaxie, and I've always loved the body style and want to buy a kit or 2. Does anybody know if there is a big difference between the: Model King release Millennium release and Pro Shop release? For example, are there differences in decal sheets, mold quality, or custom parts?
  7. I may have nabbed the tires from the Prestige release '63 Galaxie. Thanks!
  8. Niiice! I bougth a Marcus Groenholm Peugeot, got intimidated by all the detail and decals, and there it sits on my shelf.
  9. Intimidating and sinister, they said it right. Nice job!
  10. Impcon, your Chevy Wagon profile pic is the business!
  11. Thanks for all the nice comments! I also posted my 60's Dodge A-100 Van in the truck/van/commercial Under Glass section, so check that out if you get a chance. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=71409 Here IT is...
  12. Thanks for all your kind comments.
  13. I would hope to see this in a Nevada ghost town. Awesome job.
  14. I started this Jimmy Flintstone resin body conversion of the Lindberg Little Red Wagon kit in 2000. I finally finished it in 2011. The paint is automotive touch-up Sable Brown Metallic (70's Mercury). I used a 3200-12000 grit sanding kit afterwards- I was never told you can't polish metallics- oops. I foiled the emblems before painting, which didn't turn out as nice as I would've liked. The interior is Testors enamel. Its a curbside, so I swapped the little bucket seats for a bench from the Rescue 911 Dodge Van kit. I spent waaayy to long crafting a spare tire mount out of styrene, which is hard to see in the photos, but it looks pretty good. The rear windows are made from mylar squares used in many windshield chip repair kits. The bumpers and grille are sprayed with Testors Dullcote, and as you can see, I have the longest whip antenna kown to man, made from piano wire. Fuel door is from a '67 GTX. Thanks for looking.
  15. Somewhat new to posting on this site, I finally bought a decent camera and wanted to post some old builds. I began this AMT re-release in the late 90's. It had a Burgandy body and tan interior, but never got finished. Then in 2011, I started over by stripping the body and interior tub with brake fluid. It's OOB except for the tires, which came from a '63 Galaxie, and the air cleaner which maybe came from a '69 Camaro. BMF for the stainless trim, and license plates are from the aftermarket. Finish is Testors Diamond Dust and Wet Look Clear, and the Interior is Hunter Green Krylon.
  16. The grill and headlights stand out for me, nice work. And the white body color.
  17. The seats and door cards look so real! Great work all the way around!
  18. Well executed, love the dog dish hubcaps! Well executed, love the dog dish hubcaps!
