  1. Does anyone make decals to do Carl Caspers Galloping Ghost fe Dragster?
  2. Looking at the model on the box top of the Revell kit I noticed that there is a piece of sprue between the top and bottom of the grill opening. Is this supposed to be there or should it be removed? If it's not supposed to be there you would think somebody would have caught the mistake, or am I the one that is mistaken????????????
  3. I don't see any link to your dioramas, I'd like to see both of them. Send a link if possible.
  4. I'd give $40 for all three and no more than $12 to ship.
  5. $40 for all 3 isn't a bad price, but you could ship all 3 at once for around $8-10 bucks!
  6. If I may ask what do they want for them? How much is the shipping?
  7. Don't pay over 20.00 each and they are worth it. Older sprint and Nascar kits are a dime a dozen, at the shows they are usually 15.00 each.
  8. They carry the Historic Racing Miniature kit.
  9. Just wanted to let everyone know after asking on this forum where to get a resin engine kit for the GT-40 I was told Historic Racing Miniatures made one, but the post also said they had waited 18 months for their order. I contacted Red Frog Hobbies and they said they had several on the shelf and I had mine in under 1 week. Looks real nice and I consider that great service. Thanks again, Red Frog and the fellow modelers who pointed me in the right direction.
  10. I would suggest you keep building vintage stockers! This one looks real nice. Did you do any wiring on the engine, with everything else you've done I figured maybe some engine detail?
  11. Hope he feels better soon. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
  12. I'd try again, I just typed in VCG resin in a search engine and it came right up. I hit it and the site loaded normally. I only see a 1984 Blazer on their site.
  13. I contacted Red Frog hobbies and they checked and have several on the shelf so I ordered it through them. Thanks for giving me the name of the manufacturer so I could look for it. Hopefully it won't be an 18 month wait for this kit!
  14. Anyone know of an engine kit, resin or otherwise that is made for a Ford GT 40 kit? I saw one on e-bay but can't find it now. It seem almost all of the kits like the 1/24th Fujimi and Revell are minus any engine/engine compartment detail.
  15. Nice build, I did the #15 Earnhardt car a few years ago. I would post pics. if I could figure out how to do it!
  16. Has anyone heard anything about an upcoming release of a Lorenzen Galaxie? I thought I read somewhere about this being an upcoming release but I can't find any info.
  17. Excellent build, I was wondering where you got that driver figure? While on the subject of driver figures does anybody make a driver figure that would fit in a 1/18 scale fuel altered?
  18. Paul, I got a piece of piano wire but i had to rework the 2 side pcs. on the rear end so they would fit, and the windshield is in with the tires, but the bag is sort of sectioned off so they can't touch each other.
  19. Just picked up the reissue of Connie Kalittas Bounty Hunter Mustang and it's missing the metal axle. Went back to the shop and we opened another kit and it was missing from that one also. When I contacted Round 2 models their reply was that it should be in the bag with the tires, well my tire bag is still sealed and it contains 2 slick, 2 small front tires and the windshield.
  20. Terry, thanks for the info and the pics., your build looks outstanding. I was really suprised by the size of the kit when I opened the box. What color paint did you use and what did you use to get that nice glossy finish? Dave, thanks for the tip on cleaning the resin, I had heard that you always need to clean resin to remove the mold release agent that may be on it. What did you use to clean your kit with, and did it work well?
  21. Looks good so far, keep going, I'd like to see this one when finished!
  22. You must be using a Flintstone body with another chassis? This kit is one huge hunk of resin, some scoops, some exhaust tips, 4 small portions of the tires and decals. I guess they figure if you feel you can tackle a resin model you know what to do with it!
  23. It is a curbside model so I guess they just expect you to use reference photos for the various scoops and decal placement. Kaleb, I don't think you need any other kit as a doner to finish this one, I even think the small part of the tire that is visible is a resin casting.
  24. Just got my Flintstone Goldenrod I bought off of e-bay and I was wondering if they normally have any instructions with them? The car itself is way bigger than I expected but it looks like with a little TLC it will make a very nice display model. I looked over what came in the box and I can pretty well figure out what goes where by looking at reference pics. but I was just wondering if any instructions came that had any tips on building this car. This will be my first all resin kit so any help is appreciated.
