  1. Tremendous job! There is a lot of careful work in this model and it shows in all the details!
  2. Excellent job! The paint and details are outstanding!
  3. Great job! Those are 2 fiddly kits, but you really built them cleanly!
  4. So sorry to hear about Roger, I had seen the obituary and hoped it wasn't him. I did not know him personally, but his work on here was most impressive and inspirational. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. Below is a link to a Fotki album with all his finished builds that were posted on here. https://public.fotki.com/larman/model-cars-by-model/
  5. Wow! Nice job! Great color choices and the wheels are perfect for it!
  6. No. I still haven't made a trade, if you can get one, I would be interested in working something out. Thanks!
  7. Cool! Great job recreating the Hotwheels in "our" scale!
  8. Great job! The changes you made really make it stand out!
  9. That's cool! It is a real hot rod for sure!
  10. Great job! You did a great job of blending both cars. The graphics are cool too!
  11. His profile says he is from Kentucky, does anyone know what town, by chance?
  12. Very nice! Great color and I like the swapped wheels!
  13. It is so nice to still have it! I have my dad's models too, and they are priceless to me.
  14. Anyone interested in trading a Monogram 1956 Chevy from Ollie's for the Monogram '57 Nomad from Ollie's? I can't find a Nomad in the stores around here.
  15. Very well done! Great rake and excellent craftsmanship!
  16. Beautiful work! Great colors and paint details! The Monogram classic kits are great and you took this one to an extremely high level!
  17. Recently traded with Modlbldr, aka Tom Kendall. I was happy with the deal and everything on my side went very smoothly! Thanks! Larry Court
  18. Excellent work! The details and subtle changes are very well done!
  19. Oh yeah, I really like that Biscayne! I would love to see a Bel Air/ Biscayne kit, besides the AMT '62. Anything from '59 to '69 would be great!
  20. Went to the Airport Road store in Allentown, Pa. They did not have the Dodge pickup, but had the other stuff people are talking about. I got 3 of the '32 Fords. The other store by me, on Tilghman St. in Allentown, had all of the listed kits. I grabbed 2 more of the '32's. Passed on the other stuff because I already have 2 of the C5 Z06s, and probably would never build any of the others. I always liked the Monogram '32 roadster, a lot of good stuff in there and they build up nicely. I see these kits are all over Ebay already, making the shrewd prospectors millions! Many with the Ollie's price tag still on them!
  21. That's really cool! Everything you did works perfectly!
  22. The front axle and suspension are from the AMT '55 Nomad. I was going to use the front end from the Monogram '55 Chevy Street Machine, but it sat too high. I am not 100% crazy about the one I used, it could have had a little wider tracking, but it will do.
  23. It is Tamiya rattle can paint and it has a few flaws, but they will be covered when I add lettering and sponsors, etc. I think when it is all lettered up, has foiled trim and the rest of the details I want to add, it will look good. It is just taking longer than I thought, lol!
