Thanks Harry and Ray. This kit was a real joy to build. There is a lot of extra parts included that are not shown on the instructions, so I expect of versions should be coming. It is on the expensive side at $79.00, but well worth it. Al

What a nice building kit. I painted it Testors Royal Blue Pearl with a Wimbledon White top and Testors Wet Look Clear top coats on both, The interior was done in Grey and Merlot 2 tone. This kit went together without any issues.
    Thanks for looking.

Yes and includes these real nice white walls. You're going to love it.

The 7 1/2 hours include paint. Tamiya rattle can paints dry very quickly. I doesn't have any clear coat at all, no wet sanding or polish were used. I only use a clear coat when painting Testors Lacquers. Both Testors and Tamiya have very fast drying time, I applied the BMF 1/2 hour after applying the last coat of maroon. I don't use enamel paint at all, since the model friendly lacquers came out.
Hope this helps, PM me if you have any other questions.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. The paint is, Tamiya Maroon with Tamiya gloss Black as a primer. I wanted a deep non-metallic Maroon. The rear window was my only trouble spot, it needs a locator. I also tinted the glass with Tamiya clear blue.

    Revell's New 48 Ford Coupe
I built this one last Friday in 7 1/2 hours. I really enjoy the build with the exception of mounting the rear window, there's no recess in the body for mounting the glass.
    How does it look?
    Thanks

Yes, I use MV's a lot, especially when I loose a lens or like in this case where none were supplied.

I removed the whole wheel well, because I used a pair of snips and it looked cleaner. Thanks

Scott, The rear window fir fine. I did remove the rear inner fender wells, they made the rear end stance to high for my liking. The interior did fit better after these were removed. Also the decals came from Keith Marks and they are beautiful.
    How's it look now.

Here's pictures of the final Missing Link kit build. The only modification I made to the Revell kit, was to move the rear suspension forward 1/16 of an inch.

Thank you for all the nice comments. It's painted Testors Grabber Green lacquer, with Wet look clear top coat. The only modification I did, was move the rear suspension forward 1/16 of an inch. I used the Revell 70 Torino kits windows, mirrors and Magnum 500 wheels. This is an excellent kit and is highly recommended. Thanks again, Al
