I've done a little bit of work to it.. I removed the huge looking hood scoop and am in the process of filling the huge hole. and I was gonna use these wheels on a 63 vette but they look pretty good on this so now i'm not sure...... I bought the uptown charger with the scissor doors just for the spoke rims it has but they're waaaayyyy to big for the 'cuda.. oh well
any suggestions on the hood/ blower idea? Ive been working 12 hr shifts so its hard to work on models plus keep the wife happy, but maybe ill get some model time at the beginning of next week.
I was kind of thinking the same thing but theres a big hole in the hood. and if i fill it you'll still be able to see the work on the bottom side. but then again I was thinking about adding a blower so I might jus remove the scoop and just have the blower stick out of the hood.
well the paint is all stripped off of it and Im back at square 1 but with all the ideas now lol. the epoxy seems to be holding up a whole lot better than the glue. Does anyone know how the epoxy sands?
Oh thanks so much Tom. Its very possible that you might see me at american hobbies, I know exactly where it is, If I can get off from work.. What exactly goes on at the club meets anyways..
I noticed tonight that the model glue and bondo don't seem to be holding up to well, I was sanding and the cover just popped right off... So im taking the opportunity to give it a dip in the "purple pond". I bought some 5 minute epoxy gel from parts store, it says it works for plastic, You think this will be better?
asheville area here... are there any clubs or shows goin on around here, 'cause i cant find nothin. Also does anyone know of any good shops around or near Asheville
